Nishat's P.O.V.
I walk through the line with confidence. I see so many people auditioning for x factor, i don't know if i will make it but I've been singing since i was 14 and it was always my dream to go on x factor and win. Finally this is my chance to shine, as they call my name I go on stage and stand in front of the judges.
"Hello, what's your name?," Simon Cowell asked me.
"Hi my name is Nishat." I replied with confidence.
Cheryl Cole asked: "What would you sing for us?"
"I would like to sing Torn." I said while I took a deep breath.
"Alright go for it." Louis Walsh answered.
"Thought I saw a boy brought to life, he was warm, he came around he was dignified. He showed me what is was to cry, but you couldn't be that guy i adored. you don't seem to know or seem to care or watch your heart is for but i don't know him anymore. Theres nothing left I used to cry...."
I stopped as Simon motioned me to stop.
"Wow you were really good I simply loved it so I'm just gonna go ahead and say yes." Cheryl said with a smile on her face.
"Thank you so much" I blurted out.
"I think you need to practice more, I'm sorry but im gonna have to say no" said Louis.
My heart started pounding when I knew the only person that could change my life is Simon Cowell.
"I think you can actually be good with some help, I am going to say.......... yes. Congratulations Nishat you are going to bootcamp!" said Simon.
Right then and there I didn't know what emotion I was feeling. I started crying in front of everyone I was so happy that now my dream can actually come true. I watch the other contestants as some of them get yeses and some of them gets nos. I felt so many people were good but I had to beat them no matter what happens.
Sylvia's P.O.V.
I had been waiting in line for 2 hours when I finally reached the check in table. I checked in, recieved my sticker and was told where to go next. I got inside to the holding area and was lucky to find a few empty chairs to sit down with my family. After almost another hour and a half I was called to go backstage along with a few others. I had waited there and watched the others go. Some got yeses some nos. It was finally my turn. I was handed a mic before going up the steps to the stage. I took one deep breath as I walked out to the middle. There I stood infront of Simon Cowell, Katy Perry, and Louis Walsh.
"Hi, what's your name?" Katy Perry asked.
"Sylvia" I replied.
"How old are you?"
"16" I answered.
"Tell me a little about yourself." she said.
"Well I live in Naas Ireland, and have a lot of support." I answered.
"Ok, what song would you like to sing today?" she asked with a smile.
"Stronger by Kelly Clarkson ( I know it came out in 2011 but I really like the song so lets pretend it came out before. ok continue)" I said with a smile.
"Ok lets hear it, good luck." she added.
The music started playing I began to sing:
"You know the bed feels warmer sleeping here alone you know I dream in color and do the things I want you think you got the best of me think you've had the last laugh bet you think that everything good is gone think you left me broken down think that I'd come running back baby you don't know me, cause you're dead wrong What doesn't kill you makes you stronger stand a little taller doesn't mean I'm lonely when I'm alone..."
I stopped when I was motioned to, by Simon.
"Wow that was amazing, I was blown away." Katty started.
"Thanks." I nervously blurted.
"It didn't really wow me, I thought it was ok." Louis Walsh said. I could feel the tears starting to form behind my eyes.
"I feel like you have potential, let's vote" Simon said.
"I vote no, sorry" Louis tole me. I was very nervous now and probably shaking a bit.
"I say yes. I can see big things for you" Katty said as she smiled.
"Thank you" I barely said it was all down to Simon, I could feel the tears beginning to push through my eyes but I resisted.
"Well I feel like with some help we could see big things from you...... so yes" Simon said with a smile. I was so happy I wanted to scream, but I didn't. I thanked them and walked off the stage with a huge smile on my face, that didn't leave the rest of the day. I ran down the stairs and was hugged by my family.
"I'm going to bootcamp!" I squealed as we left the huge stadium. Somehow I knew I was supposed to be here. I felt it in my gut that I was meant to be there. I couldn't explain the feeling but there was definitely something.
Leighann's P.O.V.
I was finally here. At the XFactor auditions, well the line for them. We had been waiting in line for about three hours before I got to the check in table. Once I checked in and received my number I proceeded to the holding area inside. Once my family and I got inside it was a matter of waiting. Luckily they called my number rather quickly. We only waited there for about an hour and a half. I was waiting patiently backstage while the others went before me. I fixed my hair and makeup and tried calming my nerves while waiting. Some of the people before me got yeses and some got nos. It was finally my turn I gave one last hug to my family as I walked up the stairs. A man handed me a mic and I walked out to the x in the middle of the stage.
"Hello. What's your name?" I was greeted by simon Cowell.
"Leighann" I confidently said.
"Where are you from? and how old are you?" Louis Walsh asked.
"Bradford and I'm 16." I replied.
"What song are you going to sing for us today?" Nicole Scherzinger asked me with a smile.
"I would like to sing You Belong With Me by Taylor Swift" I told her.
"Go for it." Simon said as there was a moment of silence then the music started.
"You're on the phone with your girlfriend, She's upset She's going off about something that you said She doesnt get your humour like I do I'm in the room, its a typical Tuesday night I'm listening to the kind of music she doesnt like And she'll never know your story like I do But she wears short skirts, I wear t-shirts She's cheer captain and I'm on the bleachers Dreaming bout the day when you wake up and find That what you're lookin for has been here the whole time If you could see that I'm the one who understands you Been here all along so why can't you see? You belong with me You belong with me..."
I stopped as Simon motioned.
"That was lovely. Wonderful. You have such talent." Nicole Scherzinger told me. I smiled and thanked her.
"That was amazing, I see real potential with you" Louis Walsh said. I once again smiled and thanked him.
"I see big things from you." Simon said as he smiled which made me smile and blush a bit.
"Let's vote." He added looking at Nicole.
"One big fat yes." she said while looking at me and giving me a smile.
"Yes, one huge YES!" Louis said while smiling. Last was Simon Cowell. I looked at him and waited for his response:
"Well, you already have 2 yeses, I say one massive yes! Get ready for bootcamp." I smiled from ear to ear, thanked them all, and practically ran off stage to hug my family. I got down the steps of the stage backstage and was shaking, and speechless. I had tears leaking from my eyes, while I hugged my family. As we walked out they all took turns telling me how
proud thy were of me.
