I open my eyes to hear my alarm clock pounding through my ears. I hit the snooze button till it goes off. I groan and sit up on my bed. "Another day of school." I said to myself. I got up, and went straight to my closet to find something to wear. I grabbed my black sequin tank, my light blue blazer, light blue jeans to match the blazer, and black flats. I put my makeup on and let my long, curly hair down. I grabbed my bookbag and ran downstairs. My mom was in there making breakfast for me and my little brother Tie. He's 8 years old. I walk up to my mom and smell the delicious pancakes. "Hey mom, Since im almost 16 can I pretty pleeeaaasseee drive your car to school today?" I pleaded. She stops whats she's doing and looks at me. "Now Kylie, If I let you use this car for the day, will you promise me that you will take good care of it?" My mom literally says this every sing;e time I ask to use her car. Well I mean, Its for a reason. Last time she let me use her car, Me and my best friend Makenzie kinda... ummm trashed it up. " Mom, I promise i'll take care of it! Gimme the keys!" I pleaded even more. She hesitated and threw the keys in the air. I run up and catch them. "Thanks mom!" I thanked her. I ate breakfast and was just about to leave when my mom stops me. " You forgetting someone?" I knew exactly what she was talking about. I gotta drive Tie to school. I grabbed his wrist and pulled him out the door with me. " Go get in the car." I demanded him. Whenever moms not around, I get to boss Tie around however I want to. I get in car and he's in the passenger seat. "Tie, we've discussed this! Your not old enough to sit up front. Get in the back." He gets out and got in the back seat. I started the car and drove to Makenzie's house. Tie finally speaks up and asks, "Ky, We usually don't go to school this way." "Tie I know we gotta pick up Makenzie. She don't have a ride." He didn't say anything back and was quiet for the rest of the ride. I got to Makenzie's house and beeped the horn. She came out wearing a pink ruffled blouse, white skinny jeans, and pink high heels.
"Wow." I said. " You look awesome!" she smiled with her shiny pink lip gloss. " Thanks. I try my best to look good." She replied. We both started laughing as she got in the car. All Tie done was stare at her the whole way to school. I dropped Tie off at school, and headed for High school. Me and Makenzie got there and got out of the car with our neon sunglasses on. I locked the car and headed for the door of the school. I reached for the door and.....
