Sword

"The sword was stolen!" A pale fist that seemed to glow in an inhuman way, slammed on top of the table. Emphasizing the problem. The problem was big and needed to be dealt with. The Archangels found the problem to be minor compared to themselves so that left the Zodi angels to deal with this minor inconvenience. One of the desk Angels had been tasked with moving tweleve Angel blades from the outer demensions towards the 8th ring. And upon arriving, he only had eleven. So all Heaven broke loose and the less skilled Zodi is gonna be popping around dimensions till the sword is found. That Zodi is me.
The mission seemed simple enough if there wasn't a gazillion demensions that the Gods had decided to create.
Since the begining of that mission it has been a million years, the estimated time I would complete the mission was 20 million years. Time was but a blink of an eye to an Angel, but they weren't the bottom of the chain Zodi. I had met some interesting people, having to integrate into each society in search of a blade that the stupid desk Angel should have found himself!
But desk Angel are lower than Zodi, and having been one myself I knew better than to blame the Angel himself.
Looking around the world I had been in for a year, it seemed almost peaceful, but demons lurked around every corner.
"Hello, are you just passing through again?" A tall male with the traditional Japanese look was standing infront of a little clothes shop, cute kimonos were hanged up front.
The fabric on them were soft, but only being here for a year I have yet to integrate myself into this world. Instead of browsing the kimonos, a paper was pinned to the stores door.
"Oh you're looking for a job? Yeah Our Great Lord of the West is hiring a human tutor!" The male slunk closer, he was good looking for a human, I felt bad for not answering him before. "Yes, I need a job."
His eyes roamed the outfit of choice, I would say it was similar to a blue pillow case in the #63,786 demension, where the God roamed the Earth as Chuck.
"But..miss. He is a demon lord, everyone is afraid with his request. No human has stepped in a demon palace. I believe he is going to eat them." His eyes traced the area in secrecy, but held a light of mirth. The owner was not afraid of demons. I smiled, he's got a good heart, but I know it changes. "You do not seem so terrified, sir."
Instead of answering he smiled and ran a hand through his long hair, blocking a broken gaze. "If you need a job, Miss, you can work here."
I agreed.
Its been one human year since being on this planet, I have integrated in and now have one of those silky kimonos. There has been yokai's, Japanese demons, roaming these woods. I find them strange and very grosteque, but nothing can comapre to planet #23. Deltora has many strange creatures.
"Ah-zaz!"
I quickly set the kimonos that I was hanging up on the shelf. "Yes,Tadashi?"
"The Great Lord of the West has ordered another of our spring kimonos. Can you make the trip up there while you pick up the herbs for Miss Susano, please?" He didn't really need to ask seeing as he was my boss, but I held down the remark and nodded back, picking up the parcel he held out to me. "I will return by nightfall." I could return much sooner by flight, but it never went well when I showed my true form except on planet #40,037 where Lucifer was a detective of sorts.
"Safe travels Ah-zaz!" I waved goodbye and grabbed my basket. I had promised Tashi to gather some as he was the villages healer and quiet old at that.
The sun was dipping down, I had taken longer than expected, but only because of the stupid demons.
I arrived at the barrier and took a step in, knowing my presence had been notified as the gates opened and two dog demons greeted me, they recognized me from the last couple of times. I nodded in greeting. "Good evening Asuna, Sumerah."
"Ah-zaz." The seamstress demon stepped forward, and this was as far as I always got in the castle.
"Ah hello Human." She scoffed the name like it was poision. "Here is the money." She tossed it on the floor near my feet, letting the coins spill on the ground. I sighed. I didn't understand why Chenya was such a pain. Asuna grabbed the kimono from my arms and passed it to the female. Like always she couldn't seem to bear the thought of touching a human. Chenya scoffed again, turned on her heal and left. I waved goodbye.
I bent down and gathered the coins. I heard a agasp and looked up, only to see a child with black hair. She ran towards me making the guards stiffen as they watched me carefully. "Oh! Are you an Angel!?"
I got to her level and smiled. "Yes, but." I brought my finger to my lips. "Shh. It's a secret." Sumerah grunted in disagreement but silened at Asunas glare.
"Ohh of course! I'm Rin! Whats your name Miss?"
"Why I am Ah-zaz, but you may call me Oz, all my friends do."
Rin giggled and nodded like we were telling the biggest secret in the world. "Will you play with me Oz? I've never seen an Angel before."
I couldn't possibly say no to those big brown eyes, instead I ruffled the girls hair, noticing the very calculating gaze of the guards. She must be the one Tadashi makes the kimonos for.
"I would love to play with you Rin." I couldn't help it. I have a soft spot for all children..well I think most Angels have a soft spot for kids as children feel more comfortable and safe in our presences. I looked at the guards, waiting for a protest. But Rin had already dragged me to a garden.
