Consequences

Seven in the morning, Cheryl waking up with the sun in her eyes. Groaning, Cheryl leans over and close the blinds

Putting her glasses on, Cheryl checks her phone and see a text from Betty

B: letting you know our teacher is going to be out for a weeks, family business she says...

Cheryl texts back confused

Me: then why would she gives us a quiz then?

B: honestly i have no idea. but um see you around? 1:30?

Me: yea of course see you later

B: see you soon <3

Smiling, Cheryl turns her phone off and put on her bedside table

Cheryl throws some clothes on, Toni still asleep, she decided to wake Toni up cause, why not?

Gently, Cheryl puts her hand on Toni's shoulder, "Toni.." she whispers

No response

Cheryl gives her a another gentle shake, "Toni?"

Toni rolls over, pulling the blanket to her face, mumbling the words, "Well good morning to you red" Toni said with a small smile

Cheryl smiles back, "Wanna grab some breakfast?"

Cheryl took Toni to the cafeteria in campus, people bringing their backpacks in also

"This is very nice of you Cheryl" Toni smiles "I really appreciate it, honestly"

"Please, this is the least I can do" Cheryl looking around the cafeteria, "Wanna sit here?" She asked Toni

Toni smirks, "Anywhere you like Cheryl"

Cheryl starts to sit in the chair, blushing

"You know.." Toni also takes a seat, "You look very adorable in your glasses"

Cheryl blush harder, "Really?"

"Yeah it's -" Toni got cut of by the sound of her phone going off. Toni gets the phone from her pocket, "Oh can I take this real quick?"

"Of course, I'll be back to get us some food" Cheryl smiles as she walks away

Toni finally answers the phone

"F.P hey! I miss you"

"Geez kiddo I miss hearing your voice! How's the college? Did you meet anyone? Whats-"

"F.P please calm down" Toni laughs a little "Everything is fine, I been getting along with my roommate, her name is Cheryl"

"Wa-wait you mean Cheryl Blossom?"

Toni smiles from hearing Cheryl's name "Yes she's supper sweet, friendly and kind"

"Well be carful around her, you know her mother did terrible to the serpents and you know that"

"That's what her mother did. Just cause her mother did doesn't mean she going to do it too. Trust me I have a feeling about her" Toni leans back in her seat, thinking

"Let me guess, you like her do you?"

"It's crazy how I like her, like I barley know her. We been taking each other out for lately...you know..going out to eat"

"We'll be safe out there kiddo. I'll tell Selena to call you later, she in school"

"Ok, love you!"

"Love you too"

Toni hangs up, leaving a smile on her face

Cheryl comes back with the food, "Did I miss anything?" As she puts the food on the table

Toni shakes her head, "Nothing much really, just talking to family mostly"

Cheryl puts down a tray that hade two salads with ranch dressing on the side.

"I don't know what drink you like so I just got water" Cheryl sits down with a smile, "Hope you don't mind"

"No..no it's great" Toni looking down at the tray. She's really not a fan of eating "healthy" especially when it comes to salads. Fuck it she wanted to lose weight for the ages

Toni grabs her salad, "So, you ask me a couple days ago about where I live" Pouring her ranch dressing all over the salad

Cheryl taking a bite of the salad, "Well, you said you part of the Southside Serpents, living your sister in a trailer park" Cheryl mumbles, "Yes I remember"

"Well damn I didn't need all them details" Cheryl lets out a soft laugh

"But me, hanging out with people from the south side, can or may be dangerous for me...shit even for you"

"Mmpm" Cheryl swallows her food, "How is it dangerous for me?"

Toni leans against the table, "People from the north side has been playing us dirty every since we arrived in Riverdale. The serpents job is provide protection to the people that needed it. Yet some of those people didn't want our protection. So they kick us to the side, said "Fuck y'all protection"

Cheryl, still confused, "But how does that involves me?"

"One, you from the north side, two, your a Blossom...and.." Toni takes in a deep breath, "You mother is and still currently working for Hiram. Trying to rip the south side apart"

Cheryl's eyes widened, complete shock

Toni leans even closer, whispering "Us talking right now, have many consequences" Toni looking deeply into Cheryl's brown eyes, then her lips, back to her eyes again

"But you know" Toni leans back in her chair "Who cares about the those consequences"

"I do Toni. If you would've told me earlier I-"

"You can't do nothing Cheryl" Toni sighed "Or at least not yet...."
