This scene was after Can and Sanem visit their new client, when they were having a disagreement by Can's truck. It was a short scene, but I still felt like it was a lost opportunity to bring in at least a couple more of Can's memories (especially after they way he looks at Sanem for a few seconds), so this is my version of that scene.

Can was annoyed. All Sanem had to do was convince Mr. Asym's brother that the "director" Leyla had made up had wanted too much money, and they couldn't afford him. After that, they were off the hook. Instead, Sanem had managed to not only have Mr. Asym's brother pay an extraordinary amount of money for a director they didn't even have, but he was also going to contribute personally.
As he and Sanem walked back outside, Can shook his head. "All you had to do was lie. Just lie. How did you get it all messed up, Sanem?"
She shrugged helplessly, but she looked aggravated. "I don't know, okay? He's a big shot, so maybe he likes to throw money around. What can I do, Can?"
"You tell another lie to move on." Can gestured with his arms. "I don't understand, Sanem. "You're the master at this lying stuff."
Sanem threw him an irritated look. "Thanks a lot. If I would have had more time, then maybe I would have thought of something, Can. It's not like I can just make up a lie on the spot."
"Why not?" Can beeped his truck locks open. "From what I've read of your book, you did that quite a few times when it was suitable. What makes this situation any different?"
Sanem stopped in her tracks, then suddenly whirled around, making Can step back in surprise. Her face was a mixture of incredulity, hurt and anger. "How dare you?" she said in a low voice. Her whole body was vibrating with suppressed energy, like it was taking all of her not to lash out at him. "That was a low blow, Can Divit. Most of the lies I told before I fell in love with you were ones I thought I was doing for a good cause, because your own brother told me lies about you. And then after we fell in love, the lies I told were not deliberately by choice, I thought I had to lie to you in order to not hurt you, to not lose you. I wanted to confess each and every single lie that came out of my mouth, but I couldn't, and then it was too late." Sanem's voice shook, but she held her ground. "For you to imply and accuse that I lied because it was second nature to me, that it was fun, that it didn't hurt me to hide anything from you.....that in itself is a lie. And it is hurtful, uncalled for, and just damn wrong."
Can was taken aback at Sanem's vehemence. He really hadn't been thinking about what he had said to her; his irritation had gotten the better of him and he lashed out. Looking into Sanem's eyes, he realized that he had truly hurt her. His admiration for her grew. Despite his verbal attack, she had the courage face him and stand up for herself. She wasn't afraid to mince words, either; she told him what he needed to hear, with dignity and respect. Looking at her now, Can had an out of place thought that she looked beautiful when she was angry. Her eyes spit fire, she held her head up proudly and her face dared him to say something to challenge her even further. She was amazingly passionate about everything she did, and not only did Can's respect for her grew, but also his attraction.

Can's Flashbacks - Alternative Scenes and Dialogues from Episode 49
RomanceI wanted to do a series based just on Can's flashbacks. Rather than getting his memories back all at once, he gets a few at a time, in little flashes, mostly when he is with Sanem. Since episode 49 didn't give us any flashbacks at all, I thought it...
