I slammed my hand on the annoying alarm clock that just woke me up. Today is the first day of school and I was honestly dreading it. I know I should be excited because it's senior year and all but I just want to hurry up and get the hell out of high school! After being in the shower for about half an hour I looked at my phone and saw that it was already 7:30. Time flies too fast!
Deciding on a gorgeous teal lace tank top, denim shorts, and my favorite wedges I looked at myself I the mirror trying to decide on what to do with my naturally wavy brunette hair. I just clipped half of it back and put on some mascara, lip gloss, eyeliner, and natural gold eyeshadow to make my brown chocolatey eyes pop out more. After feeling satisfied with my appearance I went downstairs to the kitchen.
" Hey Dalton." Dalton turned around and said a simple " wassup sis." Of course Dalton the calm collected one would reply something like that. To be honest I was jealous because Dalton just happened to inherit the dazzling blue eyes our mom had. " Hi mom." " Hello darling Rose! When are you leaving for school? You should leave soon so you won't be late on the first day of senior year. I can't my baby is growing up so fast!" " I'm leaving now mom. And don't worry I will always be your baby."
I love my mom with all my heart. She's my hero. Raising two kids is hard, especially by herself. My dad, aka sperm donor left after my mom found him cheating on her with her ex best friend. My brother was one and my mom was eight months pregnant with me. We haven't seen him since then and I don't want to ever. He disgusts me and I couldn't imagine being in the same room with him. I grabbed my keys, purse, and shades and walked to my car dreading what I should prepare for next.
