Keep Me

Mac was shoved down onto the hood of the car.

The police slammed cuffs on her.

"You've got the wrong bitch! I'm not the one who did it!!" she screamed.

"Calm down! Get in the back!"

She was pushed into the back and the cop hit the back of the car to signal to drive on.

"What did you do this time?"

"Caught with drugs. But they weren't even mine." Mac said pouting.

"Yeah yeah. I believe that for the third time."

"How long am I in this time? Hope it's not that long. I'm meeting up with the girl friends later."

"To what? Get wasted? Ha. You're going to have to reschedule."

Mac kicked the widow that was in between them.

"I don't reschedule."

"Honey this is the 23 time you've been busted for something! What happened to the therapy?"

Mac looked out the window and bit her cheek.

"Skipped them."

"Girl, you need help."

They reached the court room shortly.

"Blah blah blah, 7 days, blah blah blah. Have fun court dismissed."

Mac was escorted to her cell. She sat on the cardboard mattress and looked at the cell a crossed from hers.

"What did you do this time?" Said the man.

"None of your business!" she snapped at him.

Mike looked up at her.

"What happened to the Mac I once knew?"

"This is the Mac you'll know!"

"I guess. We'll seems like you'll be serving your time by your self."

Macs head suddenly jerked up. She hit the bunk above here and roared.

"What do you mean?!" she said yelling," I'm only in for a week! You'll be the one by yourself!!"

"See that's where you're wrong," he said grinning at her," there letting me go in two days. Pretty girl will be alone."

Mac had never felt so much hate towards him. She gritted her teeth and punched the wall.

"FINE LEAVE ME HERE! I don't need you!!!"

Blood streamed over her knuckles.

Mac watched as Mike walked out of his cell. She could tell he hadn't showered in a while.

She clenched her teeth and looked at her scabbed fist.

Mac took a last look at him before he finally was gone.
