Introductions

Joy's POV

"Pstt! Be quiet she is sleeping!...."i hear sally say. I jump up, remembering Sally tried to kill me today. The door slams shut indincating that someone was in the room "Nonono its fine!!" She says. I look around the room I am still in helens room, laying on the bed. Sally is kneeling next to the bed. "I'm really sorry about what happened today, its just the anger and the...." "Bloodlust" i finish her sentence. She just nods in response. "Anyway.. Y-Y-You must be hungry!" She says nervously. I smile at her "I believe you, don't be nervous. And yes I am starving" she smiles. "Your clothes are here, jeff and I changed you into one pf his shirts because ermmmm... You had a cut and thats why you fainted" she says. My face flushes into a deep red. She giggles and hands me a stack of clothes. As she walks out of the room I put my clothes on and fluff my hair then I walk out the door my cut still hurts but its not that bad. I freeze. Before me stands jeff making out with a dark haired girl in the hallway. I gasp and shut the door "Joy!!" Jeff exclaims but I close the door with the golden key thats sticks in the keyhole. I fall on the floor crying. How could he do this to me? He knows how I feel about him!! "Joy open the door please!" I hear him scream. I just sit there, staring at Helens paintings.

After half an hour or so later somebody knocks at the door, "joy, its me sally. Jeff is gone I promise!" I turn the key And open the door letting Sally in. She is carrying a tray with some food."here she says putting the tray on a small wooden table. "Could you please explain to me what this place is and what is it for?" Sally sits next to me "thanks for the food" I say. She just nods. She made french toast. I start eating and after I swallowed my first bite Sally starts talking "i assume jeff told you about the shadow eater" I nod "after that happened we decided to stick together, we made this house its kin of like an orphanage and now we live here!" She says enthusiastically."so who is trying to kill me?" I say "Everyone here is protecting you Helen, jack, Toby, clockwork and Jeff... But some of us only want freedom, the one who suffered the most like" she makes a long pause "The impersonator and slender and the worst one ...... The rake!" I look at her with wide eyes. "So who was....who was that girl???" I ask "ughh, that is jane" a voice from the door erupts. It is a girl about my age, green eyes or must I say eye because Her left eye is a clock, "Clockwork!" she says and stretches out her hand I take it and shake it a bit "Jane the killer is a beach.." She whispers in my ear. Sally just nods and pics up the tray. "What time is it?" I ask confused. "Its 12:40" Clockwork answers. I gasp. I had slept the whole night! That never happens, usually I have nightmares and I cant sleep. "Joy we need to start educating you, you need to learn all about the killers that are after you, you need to learn how to defend your self and you also need to.." Clockwork starts swarming me with a whole bunch of stuff "hold it!" I stop her "killerS!? How many persons are after me exactly?" I ask, clockwork just takes my hand "the guys will explain.

We walk out of the room, Sally goes up to the wooden stairs that lead to the forest and says goodbye. She probably has to feed the blood lust.In the "living room" if you can call the blood splattered furniture that. There was Helen, A guy with some strange googles and a dude with creepy eyes or No eyes at all I think. They stare at me as I walk up to them "hi!" I say shyly. Helen smiles and looks at me "I see you have woken up!" He says in a mysterious voice. He points at the guy with the googles "Toby" he says then pointing at the creepy dude "Jack" he says simply. Clockwork jumps into Tobys arms embracing him into a big hug. "Lovebirds" helen whispers. I chuckle and he smiles back. Suddenly the door opens and Sally Jeff, THE DOG?!! and Jane walk in. Sally looks at us scared and whispers "He found us".
