The nursery for our miracles was absolutely perfect. The cribs in the back next to each other, a rocking chair next to the giant window giving off light, toys on the right for when they get older, and the color scheme of a bright calming day.
All of it was perfect and Knox was getting the last bit of stuff for the babies. I look down at the big bulging stomach I now have and smile knowing I'm going to see my miracle soon.
Pregnancy was hard but I enjoyed it...That still doesn't mean that I don't want this to be over.

As I was doing my work I started to get some pain in my stomach. Thinking it was cramps I ran a hot bath but not too hot for the baby and sat there relaxing.
The bath didn't seem to be doing anything though...
"Hey Alexa play my relaxing Spotify playlist"
"Playing relaxing Spotify playlist"
Now, this was relaxing. Candles lighting up the room emitting a cinnamon fragrance, soft tunes in the background, and a calming warm flower bath. I eventually dozed off forgetting the pain I was having only a minute ago.
Knox POV
I arrived home with a couple bags of reusable diapers, bottles, and baby food. As I entered the door Brooks was coming down the stairs.
I gave him a smile and dropped the stuff in the entrance to give him a kiss on the lips.
"Welcome back. I'll put the baby stuff in the nursery" He said
"Kay thanks. I'm STARVING"
Brooks giggled then grabbed the baby stuff and went upstairs
Fried avocado tacos. Came into my mind and made me drool. I waddled over to the kitchen to prepare something simple to eat. Brooks eventually came back down and went to watch something on Netflix.
"Uuuargh..." Brooks groaned rubbing his stomach
Thinking he was just hungry I went back to cooking to try and feed my husband. When I was done and was waddling to the living a slight painful sensation came from my stomach but I brushed it off as the kid moving around again.
"Here ya go"
"Thank you, smells delicious." He said grabbing the plate from me.
"Hey wanna watch 'The Nun' with me?" Brooks asked
"Sure," I said sitting down next to him

The girl I already forgot the name to look in the mirror only for the nun to pop up behind her and roar? Shattering the glass.
Brooks screamed making me scream but I calmed down and started laughing after. I felt something wet while I was holding his hand and looked down
"Dang that jump scare wasn't that scary," I said chuckling.
His face still had horror all over his face
"Th-" he said
"Th?"
"THE BABY IS COMING!" He screamed grabbing his stomach "AAUUGH!"
"Dang it I wanted to finish this..."
"Now is REALLY not the time!"
"Okay okay, Here grab my hand"
I lifted him up and we walked as fast as we could to the car. As I was driving I was calling everyone I could to meet us at the hospital. A more painful sensation came from my stomach.
"Now is really not the time to be playin around kid." I mumble to my stomach.
Every time I glanced at Brooks I got more and more worried. He was in so much pain. I wanted to do more but there's not much you can do in these situations.
"Just breath baby, we're almost there," I said rubbing his hand

Busting through the doors of the hospital my father, his parents, and a couple of our friends were already there. My father got up to help me move Brooks and the pain I was feeling from earlier kept getting worse.
"Is he okay?!" His mother asked
"As much as a person can be in this situation...Whoo." He replied
"See? He's fine if he can still be snarky" Richi added
Ethan grabbed his mouth to shut him up
"Mmmph..." I groan
"Knox are you okay?" Both my father and Brooks asked
"Yeah I'm fine, Brooks is more important right now!"
I handed Brooks off to my father and he was put in a wheelchair by one of the nurses.
"Love, I'm scared," Brooks said
I clasped his hand between mine and said "You'll be fine"
"Oooow..." He complained
"We'll call you back in bit Mr. Wolen just hang tight" She said before whisking my husband away.
I know this is a normal thing for people but I was scared shitless while waiting to be called back.
