The Confession

Nagisa's POV.

Mr. Karasuma came up to me and offered me a ride home and I accepted. Karma gave me a hug then, I got into his car to head to my new home. 

"Hey Nagisa, how are you doing," Mrs. Irina asked kindly. 

"I am doing better the only thing I fear is her return. If she has her mind she will accomplish it even if she is in jail," I responded.

"We will never let her touch you again. You will be safe with us Nagisa," Mr. Karasuma responded. I felt safe with them. It is the first time I felt safe with any form of parents in my lifetime. We pulled into their driveway and headed inside. I walked over to the couch and grabbed my homework and completed it in 30 minutes.

"Hey Nagisa, do you want me to check your homework?" Mrs. Irina asked.

"Sure. Thank you," I responded.

"No problem," she chirped. Her eyes scanned through my work to look baffled. "How did you get so good all of a sudden? I mean you aren't a bad student but this is almost perfect," she claimed.

"Well my mom made me dress up as a chick instead of allowing me to do my work. If she wasn't doing that she was either beating me or away from home," I replied.

"My god child, I never knew," she cried as she hugged me tightly. 

"It's okay. It is in the past isn't that right Mom," I cried. This made her hold me tighter and she cried even more.

"You two dinner is ready," Mr. Karasuma called. We ate the fish dinner slowly as I sweat.

"Guys I need to tell you something important that you have to tell no one," I claimed shaking in fear.

"Sure we will hear you out no matter what it is," Mom replied.

"You guys know how I love Karma right?" I asked.

"Yes, what do you need to tell us," they asked.

"We are connected by more than relationship," I replied. I wiped the makeup off my face to show the same gash on my face that Karma has.

"You guys are soulmates then?" they asked.

"Yeah, I know if the government finds out we could be tested on like lab rats," I giggled in fear.

"We won't tell a soul. As your new parents we will help you guys hide the fact you are soulmates," they replied.

"Thank you," I sighed in relief.

"We will do anything to protect you son," Mr. Karasuma claimed.
