Julia and Natalie drove through LA after going shopping, Julia only getting a vintage tennis skirt and a blue button up and matching skirt— finishing off one outfit for sure. The two girls knew their shopping for Coachella was mostly a ruse to spend money and time together, both of them only acctually figured out what they would be wearing for at least one of the days.

They had stopped to get sushi on their way back home in Sharon, Julia's beloved Volvo 240 from her Dad, that Ilya and their parents had helped her pay for every (important) part to be upgraded once she had graduated. Plus, a sparkly pink paint job she'd fantasized about since sixteen. The car was full of memories for the whole Vernon Hills crew, but Natalie and Julia had very vivid memories together with that car. The old smell of dust, tobacco, alcohol and weed had seeped into the stitching, stickers from protests, campaigns and outright funny gifts were on the bumper and windshield, but no one really cared. Sharon was the Vernon Hills High School experience figurehead.
