II : Silver Eyes

"Mate"

We both said in chorus.

My gaze were drawn at the pair of hazel brown eyes staring back at me. the man stood about 6'2 in height with a muscular frame and goodness why is he shirtless?

I made a sudden gulped as my gaze slowly went to his toned chest down to his freaking abs.

Wait! i mentally grabbed a pointing stick to count them. one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight!

I fought the urge to rub my eyes so instead i hid my hands from behind my back so that he would not see me acting weird.

"Ouch!"

My arm had a little red line from where i scratched myself with my claws from behind my back and as i look up he was already a few inches from me as he held my arm to look at it.

"Are you alright?"

I'm not dreaming!

I felt an instant tingling sensations spread throughout my whole system as he made a direct contact with my skin.

"Y-ye-yes"

why am i stuttering?

I held unto his gaze, as we fell in a comfortable silent. I took this oppurtunity to study his features.

He had a slicked back hair and a scar in his left brow and also a little one on his jawline that added a little ruggedness effect to his very intimidating presence. He must have been running or just shifted back to his human form as i can see forms of sweat from his forehead and the fact that his only wearing a shorts.

From what felt like forever of just looking into each others eyes, he wrapped his arms around my body and immediately it sent a thousand shivers down my spine.

Why can't i smell his scent?

He burried his head in my neck as i feel his nose sniffing while his hands went lower down my back.

"Mate, what is your name?"

He's voice was so deep that it almost drowned me a hundred feet under the water.

"E-erin, yours?"

I kept my nose on his neck but i got nothing. It's pretty odd as if my senses were failing me on smelling my mate.

"My name is Kevon, little mate"

My wolf purred hearing his name. Goodness when did a name sounded so delicious?

"Why can't i smell your sent?"

I groaned. It's really making me irritated that i can't get a bit of how delicous he might have smelled right now.

"I-i'm sorry but i can not answer that right now"

I saw his eyes switching from hazel brown to silver as if he was having an internal battle with his wolf. I rested my palm to his chest and listened to the fast beating of his heart that slowly calmed him down and his eyes finally settled back to hazel brown.

Silver eyes? was that his wolf?

"It's alright, Kevon"

He purred when i said his name. And without wasting a second he immediately crashed his lips onto mine.

It made me gasped as i was shocked and i didn't know what to do.

I don't know how to kiss!

At first his lips moved slow and it felt like a thousand firelies are going to burst from my stomach. The pleasure he was giving me made me moan and i could tell we both wanted for more and that might have turned him on as he deepend the kiss. He bit my lower lip and i could almost taste my blood and that made me open my mouth a little as he pushed his tongue as he continue to suck the life out of me making me moan as the fireflies in my stomach was now replaced by giant elephants.

I could not move as his hands pulled me closer to him and i tried my best not to get drowned by all the overwhelming sensations i have been feeling but the more his hands trailed my body, the more excited i get.

He taste so sweet.

My wolf was probably doing a cartwheel inside my head right now as i can feel her wanting to surface out to meet her mate but i pushed her down to let me handle this.

We both pulled away to catch our breaths before our lungs could have suffered more from our excitement, and as our heads snuggled together he intertwined both of our hands fitting perfectly for each other.

I meet his eyes and saw him smiled that could light up a million torches, and it made me feel so complete.

"I finally found you"

I never thought i would say that words, but now i do. I have finally found my other half, to possibly mend the broken parts of me i never wish to acknowledge but with him right now, i know that i can. I'm thrilled to see what the future will bring for us together even if i just meet him, i know i love him already.

I felt tears of joy from my eyes and he immediately run his thumb to wipe them away. I took a deep breath as i tried to digest everything that has happened today. And the thought of it just made me want to widen my smile.

We could always stay like this forever and i would never mind anything else except for him, my Mate.

"I want to mark you so badly right now Erin, i really do. but i can't"

He's last words sounded a bit different as it made me a little disturbed. It was not like his tone when he was talking to me earlier, and i stood there confused as he let go of me.

He's eyes switched to Silver and his posture changed. the air around us felt unpredictable at the sudden change of his mood.

"Why? would you not want to mark me?"

I couldn't even hear myself as i asked him that question as it pains me to think that he does not want to mark me. He's body tense at my words as he stared at the ground silently for a few minutes.

"I-i'm sorry, but i can not let this ruin everything i have already planned."

He step back away from me as i was getting more confused at him.

"What is your complete name?"

I can't put a finger on why he was acting like this to me, i know we just meet and all but he was so sweet to me a moment ago and we were both happy together. The Moon Goddess blessed us to be together, does he not want that?

"Erin, Erin Baios. why? what are you saying Kevon?"

He growled at me as i said his name and that made me flinched from where i was standing not knowing what has gotten into my Mate.

"In the name of the Moon Goddess above, and in the name of my forefathers grant me thy blessing as I, Lucas Kevon shna Northues, rejects to accept you Erin Baios as my soulmate and to spend together living in this world."

He bit into his palms as he squized it tightly leting his blood to drip to the ground.

"Nov nosher Canta quez"

I couldn't understand the foreign words he was saying, it might even be ancient Lyko to the hell i care! but i know one thing i can understand.

He rejected me.

I felt my chest tightened making it hard for me to breath. I tried to claw my neck to breath but it's not working. I feel like my soul is being burned from the inside that makes me want to scream in pain as it only gets stronger by the second, and it almost made me shift but something was stopping me.

Tears where pouring from my eyes as my Mate just stared at me with no expression on his face. he was not like the man i kissed a few minutes ago.

Why doesn't he want me?

I can feel my wolf going insane making a huge chaos to my system and from the outside it looks like my whole body was having a seizure.

"I-i-i ca-can't bre-brea-breath"

Everything around me was spinning very hard, making me a little light headed as my visions started to blur as i felt to the cold ground.

but before i even past out, i saw my Mate walking away.
