Cats out of the box.

Mahi strolled in the garden for a while, trying to ease himself but failing completely. So he thought of sitting in the little kiosk like place in the garden, where sometimes hotel guests came to had their morning tea or just sat out in the evening. As he approached the kiosk something caught his eyes, there was a copy of Srilanka times one the table someone had left it open on the table after after reading. And it was open at the sports pages, but there was nothing about the interview that he read this morning. There was only a small piece about the upcoming odi. He picked up the paper and checked it well, it was today's paper. All other news were same except for that interview. MS rushed back to the reception and asked for a copy of today's Srilanka times, he checked it too. No there was no mention of the big full page interview that had been present in the copy delivered to his room. He checked the news online, no there was no trace of any such statement. That could only mean one thing. His mind raced back, it all made sense now, the forced silence in the food tables, the mischievous glint in Harry's eyes, Virat's cryptic answers and now that he thought of it, when he was packing the corridors today he heard slight click of a door, probably from Jas's room. Those idiots must have been hiding there and watching him. They were trying to prank him again, they should have learnt by now and that it doesn't end well. He went back out to the garden but he wasn't restless or pacing anymore rather he was calm and composed, running a few ideas through his head. They had given him a lot of trouble these two days, now it was his turn. They started the prank war, but he will pretty well end it. He thought fondly how his plan would hit the kiddos. He went up to his room and locked the door. Sakshi was going through some papers for the Cars24 investment. And he without any preamble asked "They were pranking me weren't they?" "You came to know" Sakshi said matter-of-factly "I told the others that it was a matter of time before you realized, but.." "But you guys never interfere with our prank wars" MS said smiling "I know." She smiled back. "But I need one help" Mahi said "Ziva is in Ro's room right playing with Samara" "Yes" Sakshi replied. "When you go to bring her back for lunch, make sure to say that you have to pack bags, just don't mention that it is just for yourself. And make sure Ro hears it." "Ok" Sakshi said "But what are you up to." "That, dear, is a secret" MS said "just do this much. See it isn't a lie, you have to pack." "Ok, I will do it" she said. "Now that the cats out of the box" MS spoke almost to himself "It's time to show them who is the big brother. They are so happy thinking they got me, which they almost did, but now they won't know what hit them. It's gonna be fun." MSD smiled.

MSD started by making phone call, to the CAC president, Sourav Ganguly. "Dada" he said on the phone "I will send you a mail right now on your personal Id...no...not the official one...your personal Id. Virat will be in CC. Just reply to it formally and say that my request has been accepted." "Ok" Sourav said "But what's the matter MS?" Mahi explained to him in short what had happened and his plan. Sourav just laughed from the other side. "Something's never change in the team" he said "On I will do it. Don't be too harsh on them." "Haha, I am never harsh on them, am I?" He laughed "And if Virat calls you for this, please dont pick it up" "I won't" Ganguly replied. MS then carefully composed a mail and sent it to Sourav Ganguly, and in CC he put Virat. He sent it around 5: 30 in the evening. He then sat back on his bed and picked up his laptop to watch the series he was watching. "And now I wait." He thought, knowing fully well his plan has been set in motion and it was almost full proof.
