it's been a while since the Byers and Jane left Hawkins.

the party keeps doing what they always did,

but it never was the same.

Mike has been very sad and keeps pushing everyone away.

Dustin is hanging out more with Steve and Robin lately.

Max is dealing with depression since her brother Billy died.

and Lucas started focussing more on other things when he and Max broke up for real.

meanwhile in Derry the Byers are doing just fine.

Jane finally got to see more of the world.

Joyce still is refusing to believe that Hopper died and keeps looking for answers.

Jonathan is focussing on his photography more and started writing for Derry News.

and Will.. well he keeps waiting for them to go back to Hawkins, he really misses his friends.. especially Mike.

POV mike:

i heard my mom coming up the stairs and quickly closed my eyes again.

little does she know i haven't slept in days.

i am really missing El.

'Michael?'

i moaned.

My mom sat on my bed.

'Honey school starts in 20 minutes, you can't miss another day.'

'Ugh, i know just leave me alone!' i said covering my face in my blanket.

My mom sighed and left my room.

i knew she was right.

high school started 3 days ago and i didn't go yet.

i stood up and put on a black polo with some plaid black pants.

i wasn't in the mood for color.

i brushed my teeth and fixed my hair a little.

i went down stair and grabbed some food before putting on my shoes.

'Mikey why are you out of your bed?'

i turned around and saw Holly.

'because i have to go to school, something you don't have to.'

'i go to school, you just don't see that because you are busy crying in your bed.' she said sticking her tongue out.

i gave her a dirty look and then left the house.

General POV:

Mike was standing by his locker with Lucas.

'so you and Max are over forever?' Mike asked.

Lucas shrugged. 'I think so.'

'and you aren't sad about that?'

'not really, we just weren't meant to be I guess. Plus we decided to just stay friends, so everything is good between us.'

Mike nodded. 'where is she anyway?'

'I don't know, but she is always late.'

the bell rang.

'Gotta go, see you at lunch.' Lucas said and left to his class.

mike POV:

time for science class.

he walked in and took a seat.

the seat next to him was empty.

Will used to sit there.

I quickly got that thought out of my head and paid attention to the class.

after 10 minutes someone opened the door.

'Mayfield, you're late. Again.' Mr. Clark said.

'Sorry.' she said looking down.

Max took her seat, which was in front of me.

I looked at Max while she sat down.

I noticed that she looked super down, she wasn't the same Max Mayfield who liked to bicker with Mike.

when I looked at her I couldn't help but stare at her beautiful fire red hair.

it looked so pretty in the sunlight that came through the windows.

what was I even thinking about?

Will POV:

I quickly got out of school and went to the quarry.

when I got there I greeted my friends.

'Hey guys. Where are Richie and Eddie?' i asked.

'Probably making out somewhere.' Bev said.

'Ye.. probably.' I said.

we swam for 1 hour.

Richie and Eddie finally joined us to.

they came back with icecreams.

I still don't know if they're dating or not.

I went back home because my mom is still very worried about me, even though I'm old enough now.

when I finally arrived home I tried calling the Wheelers' residence again.

no one picked up, again.

I wanted to hang up, but then I heard someone pick up the phone.

'Hello?'

Tomorrow my last year of high school starts, so I won't be able to update every day/week.

Also I will be writing about Reddie too in this story since I love them so much :)
