Lauren.
That's my name...I think.
When I opened my eyes , I noticed I was lying down besides a rapid stream with half my lower body still in the water and the rest of it laying over very uncomfortable rocks. I was in a meadow, and at close distance I found myself staring at what could have been hundreds of acres of forest. My clothes were nowhere to be seen and so my most accurate guess was that I ended up here in my wolf form and eventually shifted back when my wolf felt my surroundings safe enough for my human form. The bright sun from above and the sound of water passing by helped me realized I was alive.
(Chapter 1, Lauren's POV)
**
Lauren wakes up in the middle of unknown territory remembering nothing but her name. She's confused and scared seeming as she happens to be a rogue with no experience of her own.
She finds her mate, and when he turns out to be one of the strongest alphas in the US, she doesn't put too much thought into her memory loss and tries settling down in pack life with him. After all, maybe waking up clueless near his boarders was pure coincidence.
Boy, was she wrong.
Lauren's life turns upside down as fragments of her memory come back to her and she struggles to find the real reason why she was found the way she was.
Alpha Steven and Lauren become involved in what seems to be an upcoming war of packs. Who knows what could happen.
"By the Moonlight" is a story full of romance and intrigue.
Beware of cliff-changers.
