POV Ava
Ava sits at her window seat as she looks at the pouring rain. "Ava! Time for dinner!" Darcy yells from the kitchen. Darcy is Ava's foster parent, but Ava and all the other orphans hate her.
Ava sees a small, crowded apartment as she gets up and walk to the kitchen.
The buzzer rings from the lobby and Darcy walks to the buzzer mumbling , "someone always needs me, someone always needs to interrupt me! Ugh!"
"What?!" Darcy yells to the buzzer. "I'm here from the foster parent agency, you have a surprise visit. And from your response to the buzzer, I think we will have an interesting visit!" the man from the foster parent agency says through the buzzer.
"What do you mean? We will have a great visit!" Darcy says with a fake smile."Well just come up whenever." Darcy lets the man up as she runs into the kitchen to hide her alcohol and screams, "Clean! Clean! Clean!" All the girls scramble to clean up everything and a few minutes later, as everyone is stuffing stuff in the closet and under the beds, the man from the parent foster agency knocks in the door.
"Everyone! Act normal!" Darcy whisper yells. "And open the door!" Ava opens the door and welcomes him in. "Hello sir! How are you today?" Darcy asks. "I'm fine..." the man looks around skeptically. "well, let me show you around!" Darcy puts on her fake smile as she shows him the apartment.
An hour later, Darcy leads the man to the door. "Thanks again for taking your time to visit may girls... Richard!" "No problem ...Darcy!" Richard smiled and walked out of the apartment.
"Ugh! Finally he's gone! Now go back to your rooms!" Darcy yells as she pulls out her alcohol and lays down on the couch.
The girls go into their room and we start talking about. " Can you all shut up? I am trying to enjoy myself?!" Darcy screams at us. " I give you everything and all you do is complain complain complain! You should be grateful!"
Darcy continues to scream and Ava goes out the window onto the fire escape. She on her hood and walks down the wet fire escape to the street.
