Raven's pov
Intensely I glared at the man who finally revealed his name in such a
un-classy
manner, to say the very least. I glared at Jhon... his name made my stomach turn into knots. But of course he was wearing a very humored and pleased expression with himself. He wore a smile in response to my angered glare and with a chuckle he tightened the cold cuffs against my wrist.Asshole..
I didn't know why but that snarky smile really brought my blood to a boil. I rolled my eyes after a good minute from his, rude, and vile introduction and I replied.
"Wow, truly what a pleasure to be in your presence!." I gave him a bitchy smile as his brows furrowed and the pools of green he'd call his eyes rolled.I raised my eyebrow wearing my smile with pride. Honestly just a small victory against a brute felt good. He groaned as he got up and began dusting off his suit, well I guess I was responsible for ruining that too.
Pity..
I took my eyes off him and glanced at my now restrained wrists. They really are assholes, I mean they kidnapped me, threw me in a car and he gave me a water bottle for what!? Was that his way of giving me an apology?! That's as effective as putting a bandaid on a bullet wound. I let out a tired sigh as my eyes wandered over to view of his hands they had reached for me with ease, I felt like a child. A child who had wanted to spit in this mans face but was to dehydrated. So I just glared as he lifted me up from a flower bed. He rolled his eyes slightly and grabbed my chin lifting it to exam for any wounds I presumed. My heartbeat quickened as yanked my head away from his gentle hand.
"Dont touch me!"
I hissed at him as his eyes focused on me he approached me to grab my chin again so with that in thought I moved away from his grasp. Well I had really underestimated him and was dead wrong.... instead he yanked at my wrists pulling me towards him. I stumbled over my knees and fell into his embrace just as he wanted. He held me in place as he grabbed my chin with more of a aggressive embrace. He slowly brought himself closer to me so that I was looking directly into his eyes. With a deep breath he spoke in low and serious tone that danced through my ear with each word "Listen here and listen good you are just a little waitress the people around you?" he chuckled and continued his scolding. "They're vile and ruthless criminals who would have no trouble with hurting you, with that being said you need to learn some respect. Were taking you to my father, and hes not as patient or as nice as me your fate rests in his hands. So try to be a good girl and keep those rosy lips shut...... got it?"
He asked staring deeply into my eyes and quite possibly my soul I nodded and noticed as his pools of green eyes dashed down the rest of my body. His gaze slowly came back and met with mine I just swallowed down a lump in my throat that had been growing during this entire incident gently I nodded again. He smiled at my obedience and proceeded to escorted me out of the gorgeous and flattering garden and instead into the very charming manor.
My eyes began to dance around and jump from place to the place as I admired the expensive paintings, décor, and all the luxurious and foreign items. But there was this suffocating sense of power and anger, the whole thing made me feel queasy. But feeling Jhon's arm that was holding my back and leading me to the staircase made me feel the smallest amount of peace.
Standing behind us were 3 other guards who I guess protected the family in the estates. All of them had this face that could easily receive screams and respect if they had started darting right for you. I could almost feel their eyes on me as Jhon lead me to the second floor we walked for a few minute before reaching a large black door. With ease Jhon reached over and opened a large door after knocking.
