Random Stuff

Good morning

Well, I mean, we're still in the wee hours, but it's the morning, is it not?

Aaanyway! I'm seriously bored and as yet unable to sleep. And no, it is not due to me watching Inside No. 9 too late into the evening (although that did happen). Good show, though. Very good show. Takes a little minute to get into, but then, what show doesn't?

Also, I thought I'd bless your ears with a little light Britpop (of the Blur variety). A bit of an acquired taste, but I enjoy it.

Does anyone else associate people or places with songs? Or even specific events? Or is that just me?

Parklife, for instance, reminds me of this time me and one of my best mates (Adam), were at rehearsal for the panto and we were just sort of pissing about and having a laugh and this song was playing in the background. So now, it's sort of our song if you know what I mean. It's funny because every time we hear it we just burst out and practically yell it. It's a good song for that sort of thing. Thing is, you have to do it in that proper chavvy accent otherwise it just doesn't sound as good. You have to go "AWWWWWWLLL THE PEOPUWWWLL, SOW MANY PEOPUWWWLL" d'you know what I mean?

Oh well, it doesn't matter too much, you aren't likely to give a rat's arse, are you? No.

Just a couple of notices before you go, I'm trying to revamp my profile a little bit, get some new stories going and maybe redo some of the old ones (*cough cough* Howlers *cough*) so if anyone has any advice/feedback/ideas they're more than welcome.

Oh! And if you want to check out this competition thing in my bio, please do. It's the summer hols and I'm pretty bored at the moment, so it'd be nice to have something to read/work towards. I'll post a chapter about it in here in just a second so you have more info.
