Chapter 17

Y/n's Pov.

I waited and waited until Liana fall asleep. It's already 11:45PM and Liana just fall asleep awhile ago, maybe pass 11:40PM and now, I'm at the kitchen drinking some coffee to make me in company. While holding a phone, I keep scrolling down on the screen and yet so. However, I waited for my brother Seungcheol text or calls me but, he didn't do it. I sigh and turn my phone off. I drink my coffee again and turn my face towards of the wall clock. A sigh scape my lips again when I suddenly realized it's already pass midnight.

I haven't got any sleeps since last week because of Liana. I have to stay awake because she usually wake up in the middle of the night and cry. Yes she's like that. I'm so worried. I'm the only person can make her calm down. I can sleep but that didn't got any longer. I'm already tired and want to have a rest but, I can't.

My phone turn on and I saw my brothers phone ID so I immediately answer it. "Hello?" I said when I put the phone against my ear.

"Y/n.. I'm really sorry from what happened earlier.. but, Mingyu needs to know.." He said before I sigh. "We Already talk about this." I said as my voice sounds full of tiredness. My voice are cracking while my free hands on my forehead. I close my eyes and waited for him to speak.

"Y/n.. are you okay? You sounded tired.." He asks so I just shake my head even though I know he couldn't see me. I open my right eye and raised my eyebrows before I glance at the wall clock near me.

"No.. it's nothing.. this is nothing.." I said before closing my eyes again. My voice sounds sleepy so I guess he noticed it. For a while, I heard Liana's voice. She's crying again. I immediately went upstairs and walk in to her room to see Liana crying on her bed. I put the phone besides the bed's table and comfort her.

"Shhh~ stop crying... Mommy's here now, Mommy's here now..." I said while hugging her. She hug me back before I could hear her stopped from crying. I break the hug and hold her face and slowly raised it towards my face. I slowly wipe her tears and smile at her.

"It's just a dream. Now sleep," I said before she slowly lay down and close her eyes. I took a deep breath before I remember my brother. I took the phone besides me to see the call are still not ending. He must heard what Happened...

"So..." I said as I lay besides Liana and slowly touch her hair. I know he heard everything.

"Is that the reason why you're sounded tired?" He ask and I just sigh. "I'm gonna end the call now." I said before ending the call and put the phone besides the table.

Even though I raised her on my side, it's still hard for me 'cuz no one can help me about Liana. Yes, Zarah is there but, she only can help me when it's her day off. Sometimes she can't because she's so busy, my parents at abroad and my brother is an Idol so no one can help me besides from myself. So all I have to do is deal with it.

No matter how many problems I get, I have to pass through it on my own ways and never lose hope. So be brave enough and don't let your problems beat you.
