Ch.7 Rainy Days

(Y/n) Pov

"Ahhh the weekends quite a enjoyable time for those to relax, where one would take the opportunity to stay up for a bit and cut loose before returning to the daily grind that's called school or work. Though for me I was using this chance to clean up the house a bit as I haven't gotten the chance to do so in a while, not that it's anything extreme like clothes or trash bags everywhere but just simply dusting, moping the floors, putting some clothes in the washer, etc. the normal things. Once I was done I took a small break and went to the fridge and got myself some yogurt and a water bottle, and began watching a bit of TV, after twenty minutes have passed I began feeling my phone vibrate."

BEEP BEEP BEEP!!

"I take out my phone to see its big sis? I'm surprised she texted me again especially since she did not that long ago, but anyway I open my phone to see what she sent."

Sara (Text Message):"Hey there (Y/n) just letting you know I finished my mission! So I'll be heading home now! I'll probably get home later on tonight that all depends on how bad traffic is ughhhh.."

(Y/n) (Text message):"Nice. Well it is the weekend so I'm probably still going to be up for a bit."

Sara (Text Message):"Oooo! We should totally have a game night! Maybe next week too if I'm not to busy!!"

(Y/n) (Text Message):"I be down for that, you better practice up then when you get the chance."

Sara (Text Message):"Oh shut up!! Just wish me luck getting through this insane road!"

(Y/n) (Text Message):"Alright I'll wish with all my heart that you get home early and get your butt whooped if your up for it."

Sara (Text Message):"Don't test me. I'll actually get serious when I use my best character!!"

(Y/n) (Text Messages):" Yeah yeah just focus on the road so you don't road rage on anyone."

Sara (Text Message):"Alright fine. Also it's not my fault they can't drive!! Also be careful! and you know what I'm talking about!"

(Y/n):(Text Message):"I know I know."

"After that lovely back and forth with sis I put my phone up and just stare at the TV listening to some people talking amongst each other trying to sell some products which never really interested me all that much to be honest, what's even more weird is how some of these product channels start selling Christmas products so early like why? Anyway I decided to switch the channel to the weather channel which I mainly use to listen to the weather and anything else, but mostly the weather. But I soon decided to switch it to a cooking channel for the time being."

(Y/n):"...(Heh if mom and dad were here they would have stayed glued to the couch watching what new dishes they could make especially deserts.....I hope they are safe..)"

"I look up at the ceiling and start remembering all the times I trained so hard just to get the chance to search for them. Hell it did somewhat change me for the worst, I became so hell bent that nothing else mattered to me no fun, no friends, no extra activities, I even remember I wanted to do basketball maybe even join the sport, but just like that I gave that up too finding my parents became my objective I still want to go out and look for them, but I did say I would try to move on..Hopefully. Though the only person at the time I actually cared about at the time was my sister Sara who I will always be grateful for, and then came Asuka who actually I somehow managed to click with pretty quick, maybe it was her open air, her cheerful personality, or maybe it was her kindness and her actually bothering to care about my dumbass which she eventually got me to open up a bit, and then we just became so close after that pretty much waking up early and goofing off as much as we could, sadly after that we didn't see each other after that I became so busy with school and training that I kinda forgot to check up on her although I am happy now that we can hangout now as a team. Then there's the others I met as I grew up, I'm grateful and happy that I met, but....I still have that..static feeling from time to time I don't know why I feel like that, but I decided to shake my thoughts and not let it get to me, and resume cleaning up the house which didn't take long with me now wiping some sweat off my forehead as I go to grab a water bottle from the fridge to see we're starting to run low on water bottles."
