Chapter 4: "The stare"

THE NEXT DAY

CHAEYOUNG'S POV

I took a peck at the other bed and saw the bully penguin peacefully sleeping, my heartbeat fast i dont know why maybe because I haven't eat my breakfast, i just shrugged my thoughts and went to the kitchen i saw Jeongyeon unnie preparing our foods and Nayeon unnie cooking. "Good morning cub" Jeongyeon greeted me and I greeted her back to, "Oh hey Cheang good morning! come on breakfast almost ready" Nayeon unnie said "Good morning too unnie bunny i teased because she looks like a cute bunny. She just laughed, then the others came out too except for Mina, we greeted good morning to each other then suddenly, "Chaeng can u wake up Mina pls? so that we can have breakfast together." Sana said. "Oh ok be right back" I replied.

I went inside our room and slowly shaked Mina, "Hey penguin wake up let's go breakfast is ready" i said. "Hmmmm... five minutes more" she groaned. I can't help but to stare at her she's so beautiful in close up.

MINA'S POV

I slowly opened my eyes and saw that cub staring at me we're so close to each other that I can feel her breath, we stared at each other my heart beating is so fast that I could hear it until....

"Hey guys! what took u so long to come at the dinning ar--" Jihyo was cut off by us because she saw us so close to each other, then she smiled playfully, "Oh so this what took u so long huh 😏" She smirked and we got blush because of embarrassment. "Stop with that and lets go I'm hungry" Chaeng defended. We 3 went to the dinning area and ate our breakfast but it's still awkward for me and Chaeng because of the 'stare incident' earlier and i dont know too why i feel nervous and my heart is beating so fast at that time. I just shrugged it off again and did my morning routine after i ate my breakfast and thanked them for the food.

CHAEYOUNG'S POV

'Oh my GHADDDD!! DID WE JUST STARE EACH OTHER EARLIER?!?!'  I thought i didn't know why I got nervous earlier and my heart beats faster for the second time again, I think this will be awkward for us because they are now teasing us because Jihyo told the others about what she saw earlier the 'stare incident' I blushed because of the embarassment it will be awkward for the two of us and i dont know how to face her or to say something to her because we are roomates 'aish'. I shrugged my thought about it and went to take a shower and do my routine.
