You Better Believe Me...

We walked into the Grill, our arms linked and both of us smiling like idiots. Automatically we were greeted by hateful eyes -  Bonnie, Tyler, Caroline, Stefan and Elena's -  then there were two sadder pairs of eyes - Matt and Damon's.

We took a free booth on the other side to them and ordered our fries and drinks, we were perfectly aware of the Scooby Gang (Elena's followers)  glares. Stefan stood and made his way over to us.

"You have a nerve showing your face here. " he spat.

"Well you dont own the place, therefore i can go where i want. " i returned in an equally spiteful manner. He glared deggers at me and to be honest, i was waiting for him to attack me.

"You don't belong in Mystic Falls anymore, there's nothing here for you. You shoukd leave." i stood and faces him head on, my heels making me nearly the same height.

" Firstly, you are the one who doesn't belong here, you coming back got your family killed!" he looked a little sadder now, probably remembering that Zach is now dead,  "Secondly, i am not leaving. I have things here. I have friends, a new family. Hopefully this one will actually care."  guilt was added to his eyes.  "And thirdly, get your fu*ki*g facts straight you jumped up bunny muncher!"  shock was written all over his face. That was the first time that i have ever sworn in front of him or Damon.

He walked away and Rebekah high-fived me, i roughly heard Damon and Matt say that they'd talk to me. I saw them walking towards us and took a swig of my bourbon. I stood once again; they smiled at me. I cocked my head to the side, then Damon grabbed me in a hug. I looked at him wide eyed, the Scooby Gang did the same.

"We believe you!" Matt laughed. I quickly hugged back, but i was still a little skeptical as i knew Damon too well.

"How?" i asked as Damon sat beside me and Matt next to Rebekah.

"We didn't really believe her in the first place, and we also read her diary." Damon muttered the last part. Me and Bekah turned to each other before bursting into laughter, closely followed by both the boys.

///////////TIME SKIP/////////////////

Damon and Matt had left by now and i was on my fourth glass of liquor when i turned to Bekah who was practically chewing her lip off.

"Wha-a-at?" i asked reluctantly.

"Well i need your help with something, so if i tell you something can you promise not to tell anyone?" she asked.

" Of course. "

"IfancyMatt. " she said it quickly but I still caught it all. A grin that onlt Cheshire Cat owned pulled at my lips.

" I knew it! I knew it! I could see it in your eyes!" i said bouncing in my chair. I quickly stopped,  "What was the other thing?"

"Right don't deny it, i know you fancy one of my brothers. " she whisper/yelled. I could feel the heat rise in my cheeks ; i hit my head against the table and left it there. I felt her pull my hair up to look at my face, and by the Cheshire cat grin that she had now adopted, i could tell i looked like a tomato. She sat back up as i did, "So which one?"  i stayed silent.  "Kol?"

"Ew gross!" i fake gagged,  "He's a player, treats girls likr meat."

"Elijah?" she probed.

"Not my type, too noble for his own good. Sweet though." she smirked.

" Klaus?"

"NO! " i automatically realised my mistake by shouting. She bounced up and down clapping, what is she four???

"I knew it! You two would be so cute together!"  i shook my head.

"No we really wouldnt." i disagreed. "Now shut up and get drunk with me before i tell Matt!"  she huffed defeated.

oooooo! Now they both have confessed their love. How long will it take for each of them to find out? I guess your gonna have to carry on reading. ;-)
