Were you worth it?

The tears rolling down my face

The mascara following with them.

How did I let you control me

To tell me what I should or shouldn't do.

Were you worth it?

You told me you loved me

Then you walked out like it was nothing

Like I was nothing

You broke my heart into a million tiny pieces

And left me there to try and put it back together.

You moved on to another girl

That girl just so happened to be your ex.

It felt like you stabbed me in the chest

While laughing out in pleasure

Were you worth it?

Were you worth the tears,

the pain i felt.

The countless nights,

I spent crying myself to sleep.

You weren't worth it!

Author's Note: Just a poem that i had to write for my Creative Writing class, that i thought turned out really good! I will post more poems soon! :)
