I sat in the cold, on the dirty sidewalk with my back against a rusty fence. My newly cracked phone was by my side with Chan on speaker as blood ran down my thighs and soaked into my clothes. It hurt. More like it hurt a lot. I want to sleep and be safe. If I only stayed at the park for a while longer I could have avoided all of this.
My thoughts were interrupted when I could here foot steps running towards me and someone calling my name. "Felix!" Hyunjin called as he neared my side. "Oh my God, what happened!?" Bang Chan yelled as he turned on his flashlight and shone it over my new cuts and soon to be scars. "M-my old bullies s-saw....me walking a-and they said mean things a-and beat m-me then left." I whispered and chuckled but ended up wincing in pain. "They are a-assholes." I said a little louder. "What the fuck, I'll beat the shit out of them, we might as well kill them Hyunjin." Bang Chan said as he slid a hand under my legs and one behind my back. "...no. Dont g-get involved." I stated as Bang Chan held me and Hyunjin held my stuff and we made our way towards where I was guessing was Chan's house. "No fucking way!" Hyunjin yelled slightly scaring me. "Let's get you cleaned up Lix, my God, this is horrible." Chan whispered the last part under his breath and even though I was in immense pain the nickname still make me blush slightly. "Thank y-you." I whispered before closing my eyes and taking a deep breath of Chan's smell, his warmth luring me to sleep.
There I was again. I was walking away from the bullies again. "Oh, bro, look it's that loser crossdressing cockslut from school." I heard once again and their words bounced off the walls in my head and played again and again like a broken record. "Let's end him." Was a different line then what I heard before. Ravi appeared in front of me holding a large knife, bigger than the small pocket knife he used before. "Today's your last day Cumbag." Ravi said before lunging forward with the large knife. "Nooooo! Please stop! No!"
"Felix! Calm down Felix!" Suddenly my eyes shot open and I was laying on a couch in a house I didn't recognize. "W-where am i?" I asked as warm tears ran down my already tear stained face. "You're at my house, it's okay, everything is going to be okay." Chan said softly, as he helped me sit up and he ran his fingers through my hair while he hugged me tightly and whispered sweet, soothing words into my ear. "We have to dress your wounds Lix." Chan said as he rubbed my back. "Will i-it hurt?" I asked, almost a whisper while looking down at the mostly dried blood on my thighs and the bruises and small cuts. "I dont know Lix, but what I do know is that Hyunjin and I are going to kill those guys." "No Channie! Please I don't w-want you guys getting hurt t-too..." I said even though I knew that even if I said no, they probably wouldn't listen to me. "I'm sorry Lix, it's just look at yourself, you look like a wreck right now and the reason why is because they fucking beat you up while you were walking home! You were walking home and they just jumped you. That's ridiculous Felix!" Chan screamed as he slammed his palms down on the coffee table in front of the couch that was littered with first aid supplies. "I agree with Chan, Felix. That's just horrible, you never did anything to them." Hyunjin said with a softer voice and less rage lacing it unlike Chan. "B-but, I d-don't want you g-guys getting hurt..." I said and started quietly crying once again. "Oh Lix..." Chan said before grabbing me and pulling me into his warm embrace again. "I'm sorry Lix, Hyunjin and I won't do anything but if they do it again then we will step in." Chan said softly as I took in his scent. "Thanks Channie." I whispered and I wrapped my arms around Chan's broad back. "Your welcome Lix, now let's dress those wounds." Chan said while a smile etched onto his face and he grabbed the supplies off of the table. "This may hurt, I don't really know Lix." Chan said as he poured Hydrogen Peroxide onto a washcloth and held it above my legs. "Count with me to ten, 1-2-3-." My counting to three was cut off as Chan put the cloth onto my legs at two making them burn. "O-owww Chan, i-it hurts..." I breathed out, unable to speak loudly due to the pain. "I know, I know, it's going to be okay." "It's okay Lix, this wont take long hopefully." Hyunjin said from the loveseat in the far right corner of the small livingroom. "Why don't you stay here?" Chan asked but I sounded like he was telling me to. "But I d-don't wanna be a burden to you..." I said softly as Chan finally took the wet cloth off my cuts and started to wrap my upper thighs in bandages. "I asked you to, it's okay, I don't want you to be outside without me, you never know what could happen Lix." Chan said softly with worry in his voice. "I live right across the road too Felix, don't worry." Hyunjin stated from the loveseat. "O-okay, if it's not to much, anyways I'm scared to go outside now." I said and looked down at my new bandages. "Take off your shirt, I need to see if your okay under there." Chan said and I looked up to his face, his cheeks were dusted with a rose tint. "O-okay." I whispered as I undid the overall straps and took my shirt off only to earn a gasp from Hyunjin and a sad stare from Chan. "I'm so sorry Lix." Chan whispered under his breath as he eyed the new bruises and cuts. "You shouldn't be sorry Channie." "But I wasn't there for you when you needed me most."
