Fairy Duos: chapter 23 Lucy and Brandish

The day after

Laughter and joy are filled in the air, Fairy tail has never been more fun to be around.

Yn is currently eating to his stomach's content, Lucy and Brandish are chatting to each other about girl stuff, and Seliah relaxing with her book about romance. (a book borrowed from Erza. Wink)

When suddenly...

BOOM!!!!!!!!!!

The doors to the main entrance to the guild get blown away by some unknown force.

Mystery man: this is Fairy tail? Pretty big and spacious.

Yn: Everyone put you're guard up!

He shouts to everyone in the guild

Mystery man: where is the guild leader?

Yn gets up from his table and bravely confronts to the unknown intruder

Yn: yeah who's asking?!

Mystery man: I came here to eliminate you. He says with a menacing tone

Illusive Mercenary: I'm a mercenary that's been hired by the disciples of immortals. They payed me a lot to get rid of one man. You defeated two of their strongest creations, well at least that's what they told me.

Yn: maybe it's that they can't do the job themselves, afraid to face me on like a true fighter. I hope you will put more a fight than the other two that I defeated.

Illusive mercenary: you should be careful what you say, or you might just die.

Yn: we'll see! He prepares in his fighting stance and in quick speed he launches to the mercenary, readying his fist in the air yn gathers enough Ki to land a one hit blow onto the mercenary.

BUT....

Illusive mercenary: you just crossed inside my range. The mercenary then forms his arms into a circle, with an intense orange glow he shouts...

Illusive mercenary: Berserk Illusion activate!

The circle formed by his arms is creating rings going towards to yn. The rings immobilize yn in place leaving him vulnerable to attacks.

Yn: what the! This power!?

Illusionary mercenary: it's too late for you to escape, because you just been hit by my most dangerous magic. My job is done, I'll see you later.

After a few seconds, the rings disappear freeing yn from its grip.

Yn: what was that? I feel suddenly weird. He begins to feel dizzy and sick.

Nothing has changed drastically, but sadly for yn, the magic that has been placed on him will create horrors beyond his imagination that will affect him to his inner soul.

Yn: I can't let him get away! He tries to stand but falls on one knee still weak from the previous attack.

Lucy: c'mon brandish, were going to stop this guy!

Brandish: right behind you!

Yn: wait! Lucy, Brandish don't fight him!

As the two charge at the mercenary, the mercenary draws a gun from his waist and shoots both brandish and Lucy to the head. With such precision and speed, they didn't have time to react to the bullets.

In slow motion their bodies fly in the air, blood gushing out of their heads

Yn is in shock and left speechless watching as the two of them got shot. His eyes wide open and utterly horrified by this.
