I picked up my drink and tilted it back.
I could feel the strong taste go down my throat, I was hoping it would help me losen up.

"So are you-" I was cut off there.

"Okay look, Grayson. I'll put this in the nicest way possible. No more questions." His tone was harsh.

"Well alright, excuse me for trying to make conversation." It rolled of my tongue into the air like a knife.

"Chill Grayson! It's not that big of a deal." He exclaimed putting his hands up in surrender. "Here, have another shot." He said as he slid it across the table.

"No thanks, I'm good." I glared at him straight in the eyes. "You go ahead and have it." My words sat still in the air as unwanted tension began to surround me. It was silent for a good few moments, minus the noise around us. He looked me over as if he was planning out his attack. My stomach began to turn more then before and I had a bad feeling about what Luke might be thinking of in his head. I was worried about what he might do. The bartender caught my eye and was giving me the red flag. Looks like Luke might have had a past with this bar. I managed to think of a lame excuse to get up and leave. "Well it was nice meeting you, I'm going to find my friends now." I awkwardly stood up trying to flee.

He said nothing, then a grin formed on his face. I felt shivers run up my spine. "Awe come on babe, sit down." He half begged, half stated. "I'm sure your friends won't mind you being absent for a little longer." I didn't like where this was going. I had a really bad feeling growing in my stomach. This wasn't going to turn out well. I was so right about him being down right sexy and mysterious, but he was screaming in danger. 'Go find your friends and get out of here' I thought to myself.

"I'll be right back Luke, I'm just going to go to the washroom." I avoided his eye contact.

"Alright, sounds good. I'll be here." He said taking another shot.

I forced a smile on my face and then began to back up slowly, I turned and picked up my pace. I entered the washroom, and looked myself over in the mirror. I had bags from tiredness under my eyes. I ran my fingers through my dirty blonde hair combing out the knots. I re-tied the black vans that were holding my feet. I began to pace back and forth, as I continued to stall. I had to get to my friends, we had to leave. Luke was dangerous and I didn't want to be here for when he tried to pull something.

I pulled out my iPhone and quickly punched in the four digit passcode.
I scrolled through my contacts until I landed on Hunter's number. I needed him to come pick me up. It was around 11 o'clock at night and he would probably just be leaving the record shop. The shop was probably five blocks from here. I pressed call, it rung twice and then I heard his familiar voice. "Hey Gray, What's up?" His voice had a calming effect on me and all of a sudden I could feel my stomach begin to unravel it's knots.

"Hunter? I need you to come pick me up from the bar. It's the one I worked at. When can you be here?" I asked frantically.

"I just left work, probably ten minutes? Why? Is something wrong?" Worry embodied his voice. Shit. How panicky did I sound?

"No everything's okay. I'm just getting kinda tired and the girls are having fun so I don't want to make them drive me home." I said hoping he'd buy it.

"...Alright. I'll see you soon then." He hung up. Now I just had to get passed Luke without him noticing.

I slid my phone into my back pocket and then pulled the door open.
My heart dropped. The knots in my stomach came back all at once hitting me like a train. There he was, standing right in the door frame with his arm leaning on the frame. It was Luke.

His build towered over me, "So who's Hunter?" He grinned. His words slapped me in the face. He had heard the whole phone call. I was in so much trouble.

"My brother." I said under my breath.

"I see. So your going home?" He stepped forward closing the distance just enough that the tips of our shoes were touching. He shut the door, and turned the lock. *click* I could feel my heart beating faster than a hummingbird.

"Yeah, I am." I stared at the door. " So I'll just be leaving now!" I ran for the door as fast as I could. That's when I felt someone catch my wrist. All hope I had of escaping was lost. He turned me around so I was facing him and backed me up into the wall. His height towered over me and his hold was tight around the wrists. I looked him in the eyes, they were darker. I could feel my heart race even more. My eyes began to water, I was holding back my tears. I wanted to be as strong as I could. "Let me go luke." I begged.

"And why should I do that sweetie? You'll just try and run away from me again." He leaned in and whispered into my ear. I could feel his grin come on. My body froze. He was beyond sexy. Although, he was scary as hell.

"Please." I panicked. He was such a bad boy. The word danger was written all over him. He was at least 2 years older then me. I knew I had no chance against him, he was incredibly strong.
I could see the outline of his build under his shirt. "Let go of me you dick!" I yelled out of nowhere, adrenaline coming over me.

That's when my final efforts to escape came. My knee flew straight up into his lower section. He released his grasp and brought his hands to where I had struck.

"You little bitch!" He hissed as he fell onto his knees. His eyes were shut real tight and he was cussing me out as he dealt with the pain. If I was going to get out of here, it would be now or never.
I ran. " Your done! When I catch you, your done! You better run bitch!" I heard him yell as I left the scene.

I had to find the girls immediately.
He would be coming for me any second now. This was no longer safe. I was being targeted.
