Author's Afterword

To start off, I can't believe that it's already been about a year and a half since I began writing this story.  It definitely took me much longer than I had originally expected to finish it (and I'm actually not even completely done with it lol).  So I want to express my gratitude to each and every one of my precious readers who patiently tolerated my slow updates and stuck with me so far.  Thank you, thank you, thank you to all who read this story, voted, commented and blessed me with your lovely support!      

Second, I apologize to any readers who thought that this would be an angst-free story.  From the very beginning, I actually planned for it to be a little angsty since I believe conflict makes a plot more interesting and also helps make the sweet moments more touching.  As an aside, it was actually supposed to be way more angsty...(where Bas would have been Copter's brother instead and there would have been a lot more DetCop [aka one-sided unrequited love])...LOL XD  

The ultimate goal of this story was to show how two broken people find the courage to love each other.  Although that process may be quicker and easier for some people, I wanted to write a story where it wasn't.  Because, for me, that just seems more realistic.  And, as much as I love those plots where KimCop instantly fall in love with each other and get married the next day, I admittedly enjoyed writing a plot where it wasn't so simple for them to get together.

But now that you've patiently tolerated the painful slow build in this first season, I can assure you that Season 2 will be filled with a lot of tooth-decaying sweetness.  Like A LOT.  And the main reason why I'm splitting it up into two seasons is because I'm going to notch up the rating for Season 2 due to it containing some mature content.  Which I'm kinda dreading to write due to my epic failure on writing smexy scenes XD  

Also, just to be clear, the main focus of the second season will still be on KimCop.  I'll add in a sprinkling of GodBas and TaeTee here and there, but like Season 1, KimCop will (almost completely) dominate the show.  I just can't help but give my favorite couple a lot of screen time, okay? :D

I'm also super happy that I managed to finish this before Hotel Stars The Series airs.  Especially since I have a strong feeling that I'll have an urge to write a KinPong story.  But before this new lovely couple snatches my attention away (lol), I'll try my best to focus on finishing Liar, Liar and starting Season 2 of Café Pit-a-Pat. 

Which, rather intentionally, leads to a quick spiel on my other ongoing story XD  If you haven't already, please check 'Liar, Liar' out!  It is a KimCop-exclusive romantic comedy (since I really can't get enough of that genre haha), and it's rather quick-paced (so definitely not the frustratingly slow buildup that you experienced in Café Pit-a-Pat).  Would greatly appreciate any reads, votes and comments :D  The one-line synopsis is provided below:

[Kimmon x Copter] When meeting the love of your life makes you do the unthinkable...

* Disclaimer: This is a work of fan fiction using characters that are based on Kimmon and Copter (and the rest of SBFIVE), but really has nothing to do with their real selves. As much as I think KimCop is a match made in heaven, everything in this story is pure fiction.

* Rating: Mature for language (and maybe for mature content in later chapters)

Also, please stay on the lookout for Season 2 of Café Pit-a-Pat!  I'll try to start it as soon as possible :)

Finally, (avid KimCop shippers please skip this last paragraph), but is there anyone interested in a DetCop story?  Or TeeTer or TaeCop or GodCop (or any other ships containing Copgi)?  I don't know why, but I'm getting really random strong urges to write a non-KimCop story (especially a DetCop one) lol XD  I'll plan to write one if there's enough interest!
