Chapter 3: Discovery

Nano: Alright squad SIVA! Lets kick some ass!

The squad of 8 dashed towards the Klaxosaurs at unfathomable speeds (for humans) as weapons seamingly appear in their hands. Nano had a fold out laser scythe that could turn into a supersonic railgun (think Ruby's scythe).Kamui had a high frequency blade, its sheath housed a firing mechanism that would allow the katana to be drawn unbelievably fast (muramasa). Valkyr's gauntlets and boots had energy blades and claws appear out of them. Excalibur created a blade made out of what seemed to be pure energy. Arch summons twin SMGs and combines them to create a single edged energy sword. Seraph created twin knives that can transform into machine pistols. And finally Tharsis and Aldnoah created swords that can extend into bladed whips.
(first fight scene don't flame me)

Nano: Alright, stick together and focus on the ones closest to the plantation.

Squad SIVA: Roger!

Excal, Valkyr, Seraph and Arch sprint toward the Klaxosaurs and slash out their legs to immobilize them. After they were on the ground, Nano and Kamui ripped through the exoskeleton of the biomachines and destroyed the cores of the first few Klaxosaurs. Nano and Kamui sprint towards the rest of their opposition and make short work of them with their advanced weaponry. Excal and Valkyr go on their own to kill a strangler. Excal used his energy sword to shoot out a blade of energy to take out the leg. After the blue biomachine was on the ground. Valkyr rips it into pieces to get the core, she destroys the core while covered in the viscera of the Klaxosaur.

Far from the fight on top of a building on the outskirts of the city, Squad 13 can bee seen staring at a large dust cloud where the fight (albeit a very one sided one) is taking place

Kokoro: I hope they're ok...

Zorome: Nah, I think their getting stom-

Miku swiftly slaps the back of his head to shut him up

Miku: Shut up, Dumbass, we need to see what's going to happen

The dust cloud slowly dispurses showing The mysterious squad covered in the blue blood of their enemies, with their weapons still drawn. Zero Two and Hiro are staring at a certain couple. Zero Two was staring at them while wher Klaxosaur side was cowering at their presence while also being comforted by the aura they gave off while Hiro had a lesser reaction due to him not fully turning yet, though he really didn't know why he felt like that.

As the dust cleared around squad SIVA, Nano and Kamui turned towards an apartment building on top of which sat squad 13.

Nano: Two of them are like us...

Kamui. Yeah we should meet them.

The squad moves up to the building in mostly different ways, Seraph and arch use the boosters on their suits to fly up to the roof, Nano, Kamui, Valkyr and Excal parkour their way up the building using their augmented speed and agility, and Tharsis and Aldnoah use their chainswords to rappel their way up. After climbing the 12 story building, the group of eight land in front of the squad of children.

Hiro: How are you guys so strong!?

Kamui: for reasons that my partner and I are not comfortable talking about.

The children noticed the somber tone in which that sentence was spoken in and decided to not push. Except Zorome because he's kind of an ass

Zorome: Dont be going silent on me! Tell me how you got so strong

With an almost immediate reaction, Nano repeated Kamui's words in an angered tone

Nano: She said we're not comfortable with answering that question! Now back off!

This sudden aggression was not taken lightly by the plantation soldiers around them as they appeared out of their cover and took aim at the older squad.

Nano/Kamui: God damn it/Well shit...

The squad was escorted down the very monotonous hallways of plantation 13

Excal: Ugh! Can they paint the halls something other than white!

Guard 1: Shut up and keep moving.

They kept moving down the seemingly infinite hallway until they stop in front of a large door

Guard 2: Someone would like to meet you, move inside the room and don't cause trouble.

They walk inside the meeting room and they see a man already sitting in a seat at the head of the table

???: Tricksters, welcome to my Velvet Room...

TAKE 2!!!!!

???: Welcome take a seat

The team move cautiously around the table to find seats which doesn't go unnoticed by the old man.

???: No need to be cautious, I have nothing to hide in this room

They all relax somewhat and sit down around the table ready to listen to what the old soul has to say

Franxx: Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Doctor Werner Franxx, may I ask what your names are and please take off the masks so I can match names to faces, it's quite difficult to match names to voices at this age.

The squad slowly remove their helmets with a hiss. The helmets fold into the collar of their battle suits and Nano and Kamui take off their hoods. The doctor's eyes widen as he slowly remembers who this group is.

Nano: I'm surprised you didn't recognize us right away.

Franxx: A-azure!? Summer!?

Summer: Great to see you again gramps.
