CHAPTER 3

Adelaide's POV

the plane had landed, we had gotten through customs and we were going to get our bags off the conveyer belt. It was late so not may people were there to scream in Liam and the other boys faces.

"what colour is your case? Ill help you find it" Liam asked. "what about yours?" I asked. "well....they sent them to the school already" I frowned inward to myself. "it's red".

We looked as everyone grabbed there bag. 10 minutes had past and still my bag had not come out. We waited another 5 minutes before going to find someone. I looked at Liam. In his low crutched tracksuit pants and his nike jumper.his short hair and His blue vans. Everything fit together perfectly. Nothing clashed. He wore it perfectly. He looked smashing. He had a great sense of fashion.

"excuse me mam" Itapped the airport assistant officer on the shoulder. Her name tag said Dorris. "Dorris" She was old and shriveled. She had a huge hairy mole at the base of her nose. It was between her lip and nose. I found hard to look at her and not the the mole. "umm.... My bag hasn't come through, not once have i seen it, i was wondering if there was a problem with it." "well. Umm. Lets just go out back and find out."

We thought we were going to be a while so we told the others to go ahead without us.

Bree's POV

"hey guys just go on with out me, ill catch up with you when i get to school." Adelaide said a little pissed. "ill stay with you, i have nothing better to do" Liam said joking with the boys. Adelaide's face lit up a little when Liam said he would go with her. I wanted to ask her why she reacted that way but i thought it would be intruding.I sure as hell did not want my best friend not talking to me. "Ok babe, see ya' when you get to campus." she walked off Liam not far behind.

As we turned, Niall's brother came blundering through with his van. The sliding door slid opened and an older version of Niall swaggered out of the van. He turned to look at me. His eyes were amazing, his muscles all toned and looking fine! His hair was naturally blonde though. He was so hot. "hey love can i give you a hand with that?" he asked in his delightfully British accent. I just kept starring at him and had forgotten he had asked me a question. He picked my bag up with a chuckle. I snapped out of my trance. He was chuckling to himself. "what" i ask frustrated. "Oh nothing, your just not the first person to swoon over my awesomeness". All i wanted to do was slap him so hard at this point in time. Any feelings that i had had for the five minutes i had known him were all gone. I scoffed at him and shoved him as i was getting into the van. I felt extremely satisfied with myself. "by the way ladies, I'm river". He was so smug about even his name. I hated this ass hat already! He slid the door closed and we were on our way to school.

Adelaide's POV

as we walked through the back doors and passage ways of the air port, it made me think of a slasher film. What would happen if we really we in one? I thought to myself. I took a step sideways so i was closer to Liam. I didn't care that we weren't talking. It wasn't awkward. It was nice i enjoyed listening to his steps, listening to him hum to the background music. I liked just watching him.

"what are you looking at" he teased. "oh nothing, just a big pop star", we chuckled. The lady turned around to us and put a finger to her lips, telling us to be quiet, which made us laugh even more.

When we got to where the lady had been leading us we gasped. It really was like the scene in toy story 2. There were conveyer belts going everywhere. Up, down, sideways, diagonal. It gave me a head ache just to look at it. "its either on one of them, or it could be in a different country or it could still be back in australia. But we will find it, umm in the mean time, do you have any other clothes" said Dorris, i was fuming. The only thing stopping me from going all out raged women on her was Liam looking at me sympathetically as if he knew what i might do if he wasn't there. "no, i don't have any clothes, all i have is my carry on which has all of my books for school in it. And i have this" i gestured to the bag on my shoulder, "and in this is my toiletries bag, and any electronics i need. Does that leave any room for more clothes?" i asked in a spiteful tone. I knew she was only trying to help. And i knew she wasn't the one who lost my bag. But i was really pissed. "look, it isn't my fault that your bag is missing, and for now i cant do anything about it, so you can leave and we will call you when it is in, and that is if they can find it. I'm sorry that is the best we can do for you." "the best you can do!? You have done nothing. All you have done is lead us to some where, where my bag may or may not be. In my point of view thats a wild goose chase. So yes if you find it can you call me, but if you don't find it, don't bother calling because i sure as hell wont listen." i knew even if she found my bag, they wouldn't call. I knew i probably shouldn't have been rude but i felt i had to. The look on Liam's face surprised me. He looked amused. I stormed out of the room back in the direction that we has come. Liam was walking next to me. He grabbed my shoulders, put his eyes level with mine, "are you alright?" he had a smile on his mouth. "No and this isn't funny! That was all of my clothes.ever single piece of clothing i owned in that case." "why not buy more?" he asked. I laughed sarcastically. We had started walking again. "If that was all of my clothes do you think i have enough money to get more?" i couldn't believe he was being so insensitive. Then i realized. How can i say that, i don't know his boy from Dorris. I really don't know him. I can't judge him because i don't know him. As i came to the realization, i took a step sideways. I didn't know this boy from a spoon.
