Sometimes it scares me how much i think about going for a walk and never coming home. How willing i am to leave everything i have and everyone i know. But today, i stopped thinking. I was going to do it. I was going to go on a walk and never come home.

I grabbed my bag and checked my watch. 11:30 PM. It takes half an hour to get to where i need so i climb out my window and jump down the 4 yards and start walking.

When i got there i climbed over the 10 foot tall rusted once black gate and met someone or something with a rabbit mask on holding out his hand. Placed on it was a skeleton key.

"Nyla Leigh. Here for Lucifer?" The rabbit spoke.

"That would be me." I breathed out. The next thing happened before i could function it. I had a gun pointed at my temple.

"You think I'm scared. Go on, pull the trigger."i said putting my hand right on theres, my finger holding his on the trigger except I'm able to pull.

"STOP IT! Let her in. God damn it Michael ill fucking murder you next time!" I herd Luke roar. I looked up and saw him standing at the top of the stone stairs, and behind him the wooden door was open and inside was dark.

Michael let down the gun and i unlaced my hand from the gun and ran up to Luke. He hugged me and i nuzzled my head into his neck.

"Lets go. Do your parents know your gone?" Luke asked.

"What do you think." I said glaring up at him. He held my hand and we raced up a stone stair case and up to the second floor. We walked down a maze of hallways when he stopped in front of a door that had light seeping from under neath it.

Thats when i realized the hallways were fairly lit besides a few candles here and there.

"You know i have found so much beauty in the dark as i have found lots of horrors in the light." Luke said. "This is your room. I'll be right over there. If you need me you know where I'll be."

And like that he seemed to disappear. I opened the door and the light was blinding compared to every where else. There was a fire place and a tv right above it. My bed was in front of the fireplace but they had at least 3 yards in between them. Here were two windows on either side of the fire place and all you could see were the forest. Under the windows were two dressers each with a lamp on them. Next to my bed was a night stand with an unlike candle and on the far wall was a picture of 5 pink tulips and next to that was a door that was connected to the bathroom.

It was a lovely room but it was two bright. So i made my way over to the windows and closed the blinds. Still to bright. So I turned off the lamps and turned on the fire place and then lit the candle.

"Now this is my kinda room." Luke said behind me.

"Shit man! You can't just do that to me." I said after recovering from my jump.

"Sorry. But you should go to bed. That's all I was going to say and that you know, thank you for coming to live with me. It gets quite lonely here. You know? Just me and Michael?" He said.

"Oh well. I was just going unpack and then go to bed." I said looking at him. He came up behind me and kissed my cheek then went back to his room. He never left he was always just gone.
