Landon's POV:
I slowly opened my eyes and immediately groaned in pain. I feel my hand being held, I look over and see Imani asleep. I smiled and started to stroke her hair, and she shot up and her eyes widened.
"Landy!" She kind of said a little to loud, hugging me.
I ground in pain she immediately pulled away.
"Oh I'm sorry Landy." She said stepping back.
I grab her hand pulling back to me.
"It's fine Mani" I said.
Then a nurse walks in and she drops her clip board And runs out of the room screaming "he's awake" in the lobby.
"How long have I been out?" I asked Imani.
"You were shot yesterday Landon, they thought you wouldn't make it through the night" she said a little shocked.
"Damn" is all I said.
Then the nurse walked back in with I'm assuming was the doctor "see he's awake" she said pointing at me.
"Mr. cube how are you feeling" he asked me.
"Like shit." I replied.
" miss do you mind giving us some privacy?" he said gesturing it towards Imani.
She starts to walk away and grab her hand stopping her.
"Mr.cu- I cut him off
"She's staying" I say stern.
" Mr.cube don't make me call security and have them escort her out." He warned.
"She's.fucking.staying." I say getting pissed off.
"Landon I'll be right outside" Imani says pulling away.
"Actually I would prefer if you would wait in the lobby, for privacy reasons" the doctor says with a dick voice.
"Man fuck you and your and your piss ass attitude!"yell at him.
" Landon I got to go but I promise I'll be back" Imani says pulling away from me.
"B-but I don't want you to go." I said pulling her back to me.
"I'll be back Landy" she said kissing my head and then she walked out the door.
