I arrived at the edge of a forest by midnight, and was overly exhausted. I started the question myself about declining the guys offer, but immediately stopped. I didn't want to ponder over something so stupid. What if I didn't run into the guy? Then I wouldn't have a choice. Plus, he lived in Meadowbrooke, and I'm never going back there.
I hesitated, but entered ghe forest. I had been so caught up in breaking out, that I forgot why I was locked out in the first place, because of my powers. I wasn't really sure how to "use" them, but it was worth a shot. I knew I could make it rain, but I was already rp freezing, so I crossed that one out. Instead, I tried wind. The air was still, so there was definitely a way I would know it worked. I brought both my hands up, above my left shoulder, and made a motion, down and to the right, all the way to my right hip. Immediately, the tree that up had stood before me before, crashed onto the forest floor, shaking the ground, as if there was an earthquake. I could only pray that no one heard, but even through all my worry, a huge smile still spread across my face. I couldn't help it, even though it made me feel like a child. The urge to yell out in celebration was strong, but my energy was drained, and I had already used up all my emotions. I wanted to try again, but even the thought of lifting my arms tired me out.
I walked for a couple minutes, slouching like a camel, but I finally came upon a clearing, where I curled up in a ball, not able to get up. I heard a noise behind me, but before I could react, I had already fallen into a heavy slumber, which at the time, I thought I would never awaken from, but boy was I wrong.
I awoke 12 hours later with 12 random guys around me, most of them in their early twenties, except for one guy, specifically, the guy. He was in his late teens, with dark brown hair, and sparkly aqua eyes, just like mine. My long blonde hair had fallen down in my sleep, so I probably looked like a cow that got run over by a tractor. "What the hell do u want." I blurted out, rubbing my eyes. I pushed myself, candy managed to sit up, but blood rushed to my head, causing me to tumble right back down, hitting my head on the dirt, which was moist from the morning dew. "Aaaargghh" I moaned, clutching my throbbing head with both hands. I doubled over onto my stomach. Still no reply from the people, who I was pretty sure were lumberjacks.
They had hardly moved since I had awoken, and I wasn't completely sure they were alive, but their chests' expanded and contracted, so they were most likely living. I sat up, finally recovered from my "concussion", and outstretched my arm, my finger pointing a one of the guys. I wasn't sure why I was doing this, but he ought to move if I did. I move towards him, and out my finger in his mouth. He didn't move. I wasn't sure if they were playing a joke, so I tried again, this time pinching him. No movement. I was about to give up, when a man in his early twenties, piped up. "You should probably look behind you. All of the axe men stood up and ran away from me, but before I could get up to do the same, I felt a tap on my shoulder.
