Jack's POV:

Waking up the next day the events of last night came rushing back bringing a shit eating grin onto my face. Knowing I had to see her again I plan to travel around the deck today hopeing to find her.

Getting dressed I made my way to the dining area where I found Molly Brown waiting at the table with my mother who held what looked to be a very disgusted look on her face.

Knowing it was caused by Molly turned the corner of my lips upright before I seated myself down next to her and began to pile a decent amount of food onto my plate before diving into the fine food.

Scarfing down a significant portion of food I quickly deposit my plate with a waiter before making my way out to the deck to immediately begin my search.

After what seemed to be hours but in reality was only ten minutes, I see her on a lone bench with the same pad from the day before. I look closer to see she is in deep concentration and seems to be entirely calm sitting quietly with a small quirk in the side of her lip.

Making my way towards her I sit on the chair next to her and smile before saying, "Hey." Looking up she smiles and nods her head in return. Looking over her shoulder I am shocked by how good the drawing was say, " Holy Shit, that's really good. You drew that?" Nodding again she hands me the sketch book and I start to flip through it. Each drawing I look at was better than the last and I am at a lack of words.

Looking back at her I spill out complement after complement before she bursts out into a fit of giggles. After her laughter fades she smiles and thanks me for the complements.

Unable to contain myself I blurt out, "I've always wanted to be a artist," before turning a bright shade of red. Turning to look at me she replies with, "Well what's stopping you?" "Everything" I say. she shots me a curious signaling for me to continue. Sighing I continue, "The world I live in has no room for creativity just money." Giving only a small "ahh" she waits for me to continue.

"You see I'm engaged to be married, my life is set, I'm supposed to be proper, wealthy, and stuck up for the rest of my life. My path is set, there is no room for what I actually desire. It's not in the rulebook of my life."

Tilting her head she asks one simple question, "Then why are you still in a world you don't want to be." Not knowing what to say I stutter and she continues by asking, "Look do you love this girl?" Knowing that answer right off the top of my head I blurt out, "No." She gives me a look and says, "Then there's no point in continuing on this path. If your not happy there's no point."

Getting up from her spot on the bench she grabs her sketchbook and tugs on my arm pulling me up. "Lets go for a walk," she says and turns to start walking down the deck.

Jogging to catch up with her we talk about everything from the weather to where we grew up and our favorite things to do. We spent all day until sunset finishing up our walk around the boat deck with an argument on how bad dinners really were for me.

"They can't even be that bad," she says rolling her eyes. Snorting I retort with," Oh really? then you should come to dinner tonight it starts in two hours." Not willing to give in she replies with a nod signaling that she was all game.

Just when we came to an agreement I see Molly rushing towards me. Giving her a questioning look she tells me I should probably get back to my chambers before people start looking for me. Nodding I introduce Rose to Molly knowing they get along well before explaining that Rose would be coming to dinner tonight as my guest.

Molly turned to give Rose a startled look before ushering Rose off to her corridors to get her appropriate clothing. Waving goodbye I walk back to my chambers and change into my dinner clothes.

After changing I wait down at the bottom of the staircase.

About ten minutes later I turn to see Rose emerge from the top of the stairs with Molly in a stunning ballgown. She glides down the towards me like a ballgown and give me a smile. Giving her a smile I take her arm leading her to the dining room while explaining how everything worked.

Reaching the doors of the eating room I look over at Rose to see that she is as confident as ever. Her shoulders are square, expression determined and standing tall. Taking on last deep I push open the doors and we walk inside arms linked.
