Why Me?

Chapter 1

"Maggie!!" I hear my brother Zach yell. I just ignore him because he probably just wants some money to go out and I don't have any. I hear a knock on my door. "Go Away!!" I scream, "I don't have any money." I hear the door open and I was surprised at who I saw it wasn't my brother it was Skylnn. "What are you doing here?" I say as i ran over to her, picked her up and lightly tossed her onto my bed. "I-I" was all she could say before I asked her, "where is your mom? How did you get here?and why?" "My mom is at work. I walked." (We live next door) "and Nash was supposed to play with me but he is busy and Hayes is at a friends." She said as a tear came down her face. "Oh don't be sad I will play with you. Let me change then I will walk with you back over." I walked over to my closet trying to find a sweatshirt because I already had my leggings on with a tank top. I found a big baseball sweatshirt that I stole from my brother awhile ago and put it on, it was grey with the words NC Baseball in blue. I went over and put on my grey vans to match my sweatshirt. I grabbed Skylnns hand and we started walking to her house.

I used to babysit Skylnn but now it isn't much of a job. She is more like my best friend. I only have one friend other than Skylnn, her name is Lexi, she lives on the other side of my house but this summer she went to Europe with her family so I am practically alone this whole summer. We get to the Griers' house and walk in and I make myself at home. "Can we play horses?" She asked me right as I sat down. "Of course." I say as I get up and we walk up the stairs and down the hall to her room. I walk by Nash's room and see the door slightly open. I peak in and say him on his laptop watching something. "Ohhhhh, Maggie likes!" Skylnn yells. "Noo I don't." I say as I look it again to make sure he didn't notice and Luckey he didn't.

We played horses for about two hours and she finally fell asleep on my lap. I look over and see the clock says 4:00. I pick her up and tuck her under her bright pink horse blankets. I decide to let her take a 2 hour nap. I will have to let Nash know to wake her up in 2 hours to make her dinner. I walk out turning off the light. I walk two doors down to Nash's room. This time his door is shut but I see his light on so I knock. "Come in" I hear him yell behind the door. I slowly open the door and stand in the doorway looking down at my feet. I slowly look up to see him shirtless holding his black shirt in his hands slowly putting it on. Wow he is hot I thought to myself, wait NO I can't think that he is mean and he would never like me I am not even pretty, I have dirty blond hair nor blonde than brown with hazel eyes and pretty tan body. I didn't realize I had been staring into his perfect blue eyes the whole time. "Like what you see?" He says I feel my cheeks get red then walk over and take a pillow off his bed and smack him with it laughing at what he said. "Well then I see how it is." He picks me up and starts tickling me. "Nash." I say while trying to catch my breath from laughing. He just keeps tickling me. "NASH!!" I yell at the top of my lungs while he was still tickling me. He stops and starts laughing. "What?" I ask confused. "Nothing...it's just your laugh it's so cute I missed it." He said rubbing the back of his neck. I stank there not knowing what to say. "How long have you been here?" "Skylnn came over asking me to play and she fell asleep so I just wanted to let you know that and to wake her up in two hours and feed her dinner." "Okay, I am having some friends over tonight to hang you should come." Should I go, I don't know I guess I will I have nothing else to do and I really miss my Nash. "Sure what time should I come over?" "How about 6:00?" "Okay bye" I started to walk out when he pulled me by the hand and gave me a hug. It lasted about 2 minutes. Right when I was walking out the door Andrea walking away I hear him say "I missed you" I blush. "I missed you too." And I want home to get ready.
