Mida meets his new friends (Part 1)

Samurai Mida, a Ghost Pegasus, was wandering through Equestria searching for answers. It hasn't been long since he was killed by this mysterious creature he had encountered. He saw many ponies and other creatures walking by but the thing was that they don't see him. The light blue Pegasus sighted: "What now?? I can't wander like that forever. Someday I have to pass on and go into the afterlife." But in truth he doesn't want to. He had so many plans in his lifetime. Getting stronger, starting a family. All that stuff other creatures wanted. He saw a group of ponies at a picnic nearby. They laughed and talked as they had no worries in the world. If they only knew what danger there was, then they would not be so careless. But the longer he watched them the more Mida wanted to be seen by others around him. It sucked to be something that nobody would notice, no matter how much he wanted to. He trotted along the way, with his head hanging down. Suddenly he noticed a bluish light behind a big, old widow tree. Mida turned into his ghost form, a little light blue ball with his eyes, mouth, ears and part of his mane making out his face, and flew up to the spot he saw the light. There he saw two ponies stepping out of. The ghost pony saw a mint green earth pony, with a dark blue mane covering a part of one of his eyes, and a purple unicorn with golden like hair. But there was also another thing behind these two. It looked like a swirly portal floating close to the ground. The earth pony held up something in his hoof and a little light shined off. And the portal closes right after it happened. The young looking earth pony put the thing on his hoof back in his saddle back and began to talk to his companion. Mida flew up into the tree and sat on a branch watching them

"While we are here, could I see if I could get some books from the library nearby?? The kids wanted to read new books and I nearly read them all the books in ours", asked the earth pony his friend. That one replied: "Of course. I was to go to a sweet shop anyway, since I wanted to buy some sweets for my sisters." Both started walking down the road, which was leading to Ponyville. Mida was there once before. Back then when he was still alive. The ghost followed the newcomers the whole way till they arrived at the small and quiet town. What he immediately noticed was that many eyes were focused on them. Actually only the mares looked up to them. Some mares blushed when one of them looked at their way while others began to whisper to each other, not taking their eyes off the young stallions. The two strangers parted ways as the purple unicorn walked inside the Bakery "Sugar cube Corner".

The mint green pony on the other hoof waved at him and kept waking up to Twilights library. Mida decided to keep an eye on the dark haired earth pony. Shortly after they bother arrived at the treehouse of the local resident of princess Celestia's top student, Twilight Sparkle. The living pony knocked on the door. A few seconds after a little dragon opened the door. "Oh, uhm. Hello can I help you??" asked the purple baby dragon, named Spike. The new pony smiled at him as answered: "Hello. I am Frosty Fun and I wanted to get some children books that you don't need. I don't care if they are a torn or even worthless. As long as I can read them and are for kids I don't mind." Spike turned his head back inside and turn back facing him: "I could ask Twilight, but she has a little breakdown because she forgot to buy ink. Otherwise it would not be a problem" Frosty Fun thought for a moment and it seemed that he had an Idea. He looked through his saddlebag and took out some big ink glasses, full with different coloured ink inside. The green eyes of the #1 assistant went big as the earth pony shoved them in his arms. "She can have those. I can buy these anytime back in my home so it is no problem if you want to keep them", explained the new pony. "SPIKE!!" screamed Twilight from inside, "GET A SCROLL!! I HAVE TO DO THE LIST ALL OVER AGAIN!!" Spike raised a finger: "Wait right here. I will get you some of the books you need." After that the little dragon went inside again. Mida watched everything unfold while hiding in the up the tree. It was nice of this Frosty Fun to give the ink but why did he have that much in the first place. A Scream of delight came out of the library and every pony could hear Twilight getting excited by something. "It was just some ink. I would have never guessed that the star pupil of the sun princess would get excited over something like that. Even IF she forgot to buy some."

The door flew open and a happy looking twilight greeted the young stallion: "OH THANKYOU THANKYOUTHANKYOU!! THANKYOU!! They are perfect. I have never seen such high quality of ink before. You HAVE to tell me where you got them!" Her face was very close to his while she was blabbering. The poor guy squirmed away a bit with his ears getting back with every inch she came closer. Frosty stuttered: "U-uhm, sorry but I can't really tell you. Ca-can I have my books please." At that moment spike shoved his old pony friend aside and handed him some rather old and broken books to him. The earth pony gladly accepted the books and put them inside his bag and thanked for them. After that he went back to de bakery seemingly to pick up his friend. Mida tried to stay in the shadows, which was odd because normally he would just fly next to others since they could not see him anyway. But for some reason he couldn't help it. Not shortly after arriving at Sugar cube Corner his friend walked out with a small back of sweets. The unicorn asked his friend: "So, you got everything?" Frosty nodded: "Yes, they seem to be good enough. And I still can ask the bookbinder if he could help me out." The purple unicorn nodded back and both walked out of the small town. After a long walk, a bit further away from Ponyville, both stopped and Frosty Fun turned his head up to Mida's direction. The light blue Pegasus was hiding behind a rock. The unicorn called out: "We know that you are there. Just come out already." First Mida was not sure what to do. There was no way that they could see him and he also couldn't talk to them either. Still, the ghost pony turned back to his normal form and stepped away from the boulder. "See, was not that hard right", spoke the earth pony up and waved to him. Mida was really surprised. How could they know he was there or even see?? Both, the unicorn and the earth pony walked up to the ghost pony and held right before him. "Hello, I am sure we haven't met just yet. I am Golden Paradise and this fellow here is Frosty Fun", introduced the unicorn to him.

The eyes of the samurai grew bigger. Did they just introduce themselves to him?? Frosty said to Mida: "We noticed you back in the park. And you kept following me to twilights home while you tried to hide. You haven't been as a ghost very long, haven't you??" The Pegasus nodded. "I see", mumbled Golden Paradise to himself, "Well, would you be so kind and tell us your name??" "M-Mida. Just Mida". Paradise nodded again and replied: "Well, Mister Mida. It was nice meeting you but we have to keep going. Come on Frosty" Frosty began to follow his friend while chatting along the way. There was no way to just let them get away without answering some of Mida's questions. He transformed back into his ghost form and flew right next to them while he asked away. After a waterfall of questions the unicorn stopped him midsentence: "Ok not everything at once. We can see you because from where we come from we see a lot of them mostly everywhere." Fun continued: "There are a lot of aspects you have to count in. But the easiest way to explain is that our home is not like Equestria." Both answered everything he wanted to know. From what he could understand was that Frosty and Golden were from a World called Donar and that not even Discord can have access to it. Therefor they needed special rocks, that they call portal crystals. Each one of their friends and families has their own crystal. Furthermore they revealed that they go on missions most of the time. After a long walk they made a hold and Frosty held up his portal crystal. Not long after a portal, just like the one before, opened before them. "Do you want to come with us? You don't have to but a change of pace can't hurt you", offered Paradise to Mida, who was stunned by the big gateway to another place he had never been before.

Frosty spoke up before Mida could say anything: "Golden, I don't believe he would just come with us because we ask him to." Frosty turned his head to the ghost samurai's direction: "We can understand if you don't want to. It is scary at first so it would not surprise me if-" "I will go", cut the Pegasus Fun off, "I don't have anything holding me here. I have no family and I don't know if my friends are still around. So I might as well come with you." Paradise and Frosty looked at each other but turned back at him with a smile on their faces. Golden: "So be it. I bet you will like it. There are even more samurais back home." A place where he can be noticed and interact with others. Who could say no to that??
