I have never been to California and I have never been to this hotel or any other hotel since I was about 7. I'm making up what the room looks like so please bare with me on that.
Hope you enjoy the chapter although not much is happening but the fun will be kicking in soon. Hopefully. :) -Lynne

That was the longest journey of my life although it was fun at times. When we would drive through cities we'd roll down the windows and yell things at people like 'work it grandma' and 'bring it on sexy.' There was a wide range of phrases, it was quite entertaining and fun.
When we had gotten to Pasadena it was a never ending search for the road to the hotel, S. Oak Kroll Ave. When we did find it though the hotel was huge! You could see it from a few roads over which makes me wonder how it even took us so long to find it. We pulled onto Huntington Cir which took us directly to the Langham Huntington Pasadena hotel.
It was a beautiful older fashioned hotel with a lot of trees surrounding it. It was a tan color, kind of like a sandstone.
We drove underneath a pavillian like thing. Well it stretched from the building to the other side of the drive with a roof above to keep rain from hitting people when it decided to show.
There was a bunch of paparazzi outside of the main door and to the right with a security gaurd by them. Hmmmmm, whatever.
Pulling up underneath it, a vale parker came over. I kept the keys in the car since he was already to the front tire of my car and hopped out. "Just let us grab our bags and you can go, thank you." Smiling politely Jasmine and I grabbed out bags and headed towards the door.
The doorman opened the door for us, I barely managed a small thank you before I was lost in awe of the lobby. The whole loby was made of white marble, floors, walls, ceiling and the columns holding up the ceiling. There were tan designs in the marble but it wasn't over bearing, it was perfect and held an old fashioned pattern.
There was security scattered all around the hotel. Ok, who's the celebrity staying here? It mentioned nothing about that on the website or over the phone. Not like they would mention that, but still.
The receptionist were a good trailers length from the front door in all black with the hotel name on the front of it in gold.
There was no one at the desk except the 2 receiptionists and about 2 actual visitors in the lobby but they didn't pay us any attention. "Hello ma'am, reservation under Falls booked for 2 weeks." Yes my last name is Falls, Raine Falls. Hardy-har-har.
While the lady tiped I looked at her uniform. It was formal yet suited the hotel in a way. Black pencil skirt and a white button up with a black over coat that had the hotel logo and a name tag with 'Elaine' on it. That's a nice name, she had wavy brown hair to her shoulders and brown eyes. "That's $6,758.14, how would you like to pay for it?"
"It has already been paid for."
"Alright, here's your key. You're in room 388, floor 8, have a nice day."
"Thanks, you too."
Ok, I'm rich but I don't go flashing my money around and looking down on people. On the way to the elevator Jasmine starts to hum a One Direction song but quickly stops when I give her a look and she remembers she's in a grand hotel.
The elevator arrives with a ding and we go in and hit our floor number. It didn't take long until we were on our floor. Turning to the right side of the elevator, I followed the numbers to our room. We were the second to last door on the left side of the hallway.
