We all jump on Mo's massive bed wondering what he has to say. Butterflies sit in my stomach as Mo closes the door carefully . I glance at Alison who is also wearing a confused expression. We already filled her in on Mo's dad before.
"Oksoithinkmydadisworkingonasecretprojectandidontknowandineedyourhelpcozmydadisactingreallyweird.
I burst into laughter
" oekdbdis dkdkndbxbsblah blah blah, that's literally how you sounded, s l o wwww down Mo "

Alison snickers and Mo rolls his eyes powering his voice down to a whisper.
"Ok so I think my dad is working on a secret project and I don't know what it is and I need your help coz my dad is acting really weird"

Confusion fills my mind, his dad is acting really weird, is that it? my mind struggles t get my head around what he is saying. i see the frustration leaking from his eyes and i sigh, 

" OK, Mo what do you want us to do?"

he lets out a huge sigh of relief, i realize that Alison is quiet, which is never the case. she is biting her nails and staring intensely at her nails as though they did something wrong or their presence is bothering her. i nudge her slightly and she jumps quickly putting on a big smile but i already know something's up. i give her a look like i will talk to her later. she sighs and nods as we both look back at Mo who is pacing around the room in a strange frenzy. that's when i realize it must be serious. Mo is usually the calm, collected smart one that we ask help for, definitely not the other way around. what could be so serious that has Mo so worked up? 

" guys, i heard my Dad talking on his phone when i was getting ready for bed. he said something and it-it scares me, it does" 

" Um, OK what did he say?"

he said " Just kill them, find a way, an excuse but i want them dead" 

my heart stops beating for just one second. 

Mo's dad is hiding something. that part is crystal clear.
