Reunion(Remus x Reader)

Reunion

A/N - everything you should know is in the description, plus you are an Animagus(wolf) and were Lily's best friend, even after your brother called her a mudblood. This does not follow the storyline in PoA at all.

You were yanked into the air as you teachers entered the Great Hall, now a teacher, not having seen your brother or your last remaining school friend, Remus Lupin, for twelve years. You were the godmother of Harry Potter, James and Lily's son. This was not a surprise, considering the fact that you were a Marauder and also Lily's best friend back in Hogwarts. Your other best friend was Remus. James and Sirius were almost as close, just like brothers to you.

"SEV!" You roared, successfully getting the attention of the few people that were not looking your way when the spell was cast on you. He stood up from the table at the front of the Hall to come closer to you with his wand raised, controlling the 'Levicorpus' he had cast.

"How you hanging?" He asked with a cheeky grin. The students looked perturbed, you guessed that they did not often see your older brother grinning, or even close to smiling.

"Is this going to be a repeat of the last time you did this?" You asked calmly. He paled slightly and carefully let you down. You heard a snort coming from the Professors' table and looked to see who it came from. You saw Professor McGonagall, whom you called Minnie, with her hand over her mouth, trying not to laugh at Severus' response to your threat. She obviously clearly remembered the Bat-Bogey Hex you had used on him.

"Missed you," he said, kissing you on the cheek, leaving students with their mouths hanging open as you also gave him a kiss.

"Sev," you said warningly, "just because I don't see you for twelve years does not mean you can avoid washing your hair." There was a peal of laughter from the other end of the table and your heart stopped.

"Remus?" You whispered. You felt a nudge in your back, presumably from your annoying twin brother as Remus stood up.

"H-hey, Y/N," he said nervously, walking towards you. You lunged at him and tackled him in a huge hug. He lets out a sigh of relief.

"I missed you Remmy," you squealed.

"Ok, so who is she in a relationship with, Snape or the new Professor?" asked a student. You, Remus and Severus burst out laughing. Everyone except the teachers, who were looking on, amused, Minnie actually laughing, looked very confused at the response from you.

"I'm her best friend," said Remus, once he could talk. Everyone turned to Sev.

"I'm her brother," he said.

"Oh," said a different voice. You looked up sharply, the voice sounded exactly like James. There must have been steel in your eyes, because the students closest to you flinched away. Sev looked away from you, sadness clouding his face. Minnie stopped laughing and no-one at the teachers' table would look you in the eye.

"Who said that?" You asked harshly.

"Um, I did, Professor," the child said. You looked straight at the face of James Potter. Wait, you thought, he has Lily's eyes. The boy looked at you nervously, the girl and boy next to him also slightly flinching as you walked over.

"Stand up," you commanded.

"No, don't, it will only make it wor-"

"Hush, brother," you cut him off, you were doing this no matter what. The poor boy stood in front of you. You grabbed his chin and moved his face around, looking at it from different angles.

"I'm sorry Professor, I shouldn't have said anything," he said, looking so petrified you wanted to hug him, but you knew you would cry if you did.

"Honey, you have nothing to apologize for," you said gently. "You may sit, Prongs-" You heard a cough, from Remus, probably, "-let." Your eyes filled with tears at the fact you had almost called him Prongs, and the new nickname for the boy.

"Remus," you whispered, looking at the man that was now behind you, "He looks so similar."

"I know," he said, and seeing the broken look in your eyes, pulled you to his chest.

"Sev," you called out. He turned to you. You extracted yourself from Remus' arms and walked towards him.

"Yes?"

"He has her eyes," you whispered, "please let me love him, I am his godmother."

"If you get hurt, I will make his life a living hell." He answered, in a whisper too.

"I do not approve of that!" You said loudly to your brother.

"Harry is looking, not to mention the entire student body of Hogwarts," he answered.

"I do not care whether there are children looking, I will fight you," you say bluntly.

"Ok," he said. You faced each other, ready for a duel in the middle of dinner. Remus had sat with the rest of the teachers and they were all looking bored, this being somewhat of a regular occurrence during your schooling. The students were wide eyed, looking between the two of you.

"One," you say, walking away, but also preparing yourself, knowing he will turn on two, as always.

"Two!" He says and you cast a shield charm as he tries to disarm you. You then Petrify him easily.

"Mmph," you say, as Remus unfreezes your brother.

"The usual please," you say, and he deposits nine Galleons in your hand.

"Excuse me, Sev," you say, "have you got forgotten something?"

"Merlin," he mumbles as he adds an extra coin to your pile. You and Remus sit next to each other and you jump as Harry falls to the floor. You hiss as you point your wand at the platinum blond-haired boy laughing.

"Draco Malfoy," you say sweetly, "Narcissa and Luscious, oops, sorry Lucius' son. Fancy seeing you here, I didn't think I'd have to deal with you yet, but apparently I will." You help Harry to his feet and point your wand at Draco.

"Stay away from him," you snarl.

"Professor Snape, as a rule, we do not use harmful magic as punishment against students," Professor McGonagall says sternly.

"Shame on you, Minnie, don't you remember I don't usually follow the rules, unlike Mr Prefect here," you reply indicating Remus.

"Hey! I was chosen as a prefect because I was responsible, unlike you, Padfoot, Prongs or Wormtail!" He retorts. The two of you have a loud argument through the rest of dinner. The students are shocked, but the teachers are unfazed.
