One too many nightmares

For the following week Eren spent his time training Akira. Akira was doing his best to learn. Soon enough he was a pro like his father, Levi. They had already set everything in motion with the battle. Levi was worried something terrible would happen, the brunette did as well.

'Tomorrow is the day, what a living hell'. Levi thought in his mind. He tapped his pen on his desk as he soon brought it to his lips and bit it. 'I'm worried'. He sighed, stress following. Eren had just walked through the door about then and Levi looked up. "Does the brat have enough training?" He asked, in an annoyed tone. Eren nodded slowly and sat in the chair across from his significant other. "So , tomorrow isn't it?". The taller one spoke. Levi nodded. "Please keep an eye on that brat once we get out there. I'll try my best to watch him..but with how this is going I'm afraid I might end up not being able to help. Promise me...that you'll keep him safe  Eren". His silver eyes met Eren's ocean eyes. Eren smiled faintly. "I will dear". He got up and hugged Levi and tried not to tear up. It would kill Eren if anything bad happened to Levi or Akira. He rubbed Levi's back slowly then let go. Levi looked up at him. "Go get everything ready for me, will ya? we don't have til much longer until we strike." Eren nodded and kissed Levi's forehead and went to get everything prepared. 

-Later that evening-

It was now 12:00 am, the arrival of the terrifying war between humanities strongest heroes. Levi had gotten his squad up together and Eren grabbed their little one and sat him down on his ride. Both of the men were nervous and on edge, something felt off. "Let's head out". Levi said as he hit the horse with the reins and started off into the midst of the blackness. Everyone followed. He had Erwin and Mikasa beside Eren just for safety precautions. Levi kept his eyes on the black nothing, very aware. He didn't want to screw up and have something bad happen, not in front of the kid. He wanted to live out and see his child grow up. He gritted his teeth and looked behind him, to see Eren and Akira ok. He sighed in relief. 

After a while they had made it to their destinations and split off. He had Eren stay close by. Thoughts were running through his head. 'Why did Levi decide to even bring Akira along..anything could happen..this feeling is a little off.' Eren had thought and looked at the boy between his legs. "Son..Stay close by me, even if anything happens, okay?". Akira nodded in agreement and Eren kissed his forehead. As soon as he had done that out of no where a titan appeared. Levi and Eren both looked up. The horses coiled back in fear. Levi jumped off and started to kill the titan. He was being very careful. He slit with precision on the titans neck and it fell over and began to evaporate steam. Levi panted and looked down at Eren. "EREN!," He yelled down at Eren loudly to grasp his attention, "Keep Akira safe. I'm going out farther, I love you my love...". Levi smiled and disappeared from Eren's sight. Eren had blew a kiss to him before he did disappear . Eren felt suddenly depressed. He didn't want Levi to leave his sight. 

-An Hour Later-

Levi had been gone for a long time so Eren took his son and went to go find Levi. Levi was struggling to get free from someone. It so happened to be his so called father "Kenny". He was choking Levi. Levi grunted and bit and kicked him visiously, making Kenny groan and curse. "YoU sTupId bItCh" Kenny growled and Levi was let go. Kenny pulled out his gun and kicked Levi down. "Don't you dare fucking shoot me...my husband and son are waiting for me." Levi said in a cracked soft voice. Kenny laughed. "You're a disgrace, they probably wouldn't miss you anyways". Levi grunted. "Yes they would you stupid cunt, more THAN THEY WILL EVER BE" He raised his voice. Kenny raised the gun to Levi's head. "I'm sorry Levi but you need to learn your place. I'm the man! Your just a useless kid..". He grabbed Levi's chin. 

Around the corner was Eren. He heard voices and arguing. He turned the corner. 

BANG! 

Akira's eyes were wide open. The blood was everywhere. Levi had been shot. Eren's eyes turned dark and tackled Kenny. His eyes full of tears and anger. He strangled Kenny til he made sure he was dead. 

About an hour later Eren woke up. He rubbed his head and looked around. "Akira!" He was worried and did not know where he was. Akira sighed. "I'm right here dad". He hugs Eren softly, tears flooded the boys' eyes. "I'm sorry my dear...It's my fault..". Akira pouted and shook his father. "No! it wasn't your fault...It was that man's fault...I..miss father" Akira and Eren hugged once more, Eren rubbing his back in a comforting way. That day had been a rough one. They attend a funeral for Levi and left roses on the casket. They soon went home. "Let's call it a day little one..". He rubbed Akira's head and tucked the boy in his bed. Then he kissed his forehead and turned off the light and walked out of the bedroom. Eren then went to his room to grieve over his husband's death. 

Authors note: It had to be done ;-;. Yes I didn't want to kill Levi but Meh...well yeah. So I have good news and bad news, The good news is I will still update this book, The bad news is that I'm ending it soon. With that being said I will be writing a new book after this one is finished soon.
