"Please" Lilith said through tears, hoping that her mother would stop beating her.
"Worthless little brat" her mother spat at her "get out I never want to see you again"
Lilith slowly got up and made towards her room if her mother mother wanted her out then she would go.
She packed her stuff in a small backpack and ran into the night.
15 minutes later Lilith knocks on the door of her boyfriend Nicholas and his siblings Diya, Kai and Sailor's house.
"Who could that be" Nicholas says from inside then he opens the door.
"Lills" Nicholas said shocked "what happened?"
"Mum" Lilith sobbed, Nicholas pulled her into his arms guiding her into the house and onto the lounge.
"Lills what happened?" Nicholas says as Diya walks into the lounge room rubbing her eyes.
"Lills" Diya says running into her arms.
"Diya" Nicholas says gently "would you like it if Lills stays with us for a while"
Diya smiles widely and nods then snuggles into Lilith.
"Let's go to bed Diya" Lilith says and gets up with the little girl in her arms.
Lilith carries Diya to her, Kai and Sailor's room and lets her climb into her bed, as Lilith was about to walk out of the room when she heard a small sniffle and turns around to find Sailor sitting up. Lilith walks over and sits on the end of her bed.
"What's up baby girl?" Lilith says
"Nightmares" Sailor sniffles as she climbs into Lilith's lap "tan I sweep wiff po and Nico pweese?"
"Sure baby girl" Lilith says softly and gets up with Sailor in her arms.
When they get into Nicholas' room they find Nicholas already in bed, he looks at them when they enter and sits up when he notices his youngest sister in Lilith's arms.
"Another nightmare baby girl?" he asks
Sailor just nods and puts her thumb in her mouth. Nicholas moves over for Sailor. Lilith and Sailor lay down with Sailor in the middle.
"Goodnight Lills, night baby girl" Nicholas says and kisses both girls on the forehead and as Nicholas and Lilith both drift off to sleep a small voice says "night mummy, night daddy."
