i can't believe how much I've spent getting myself to look different for Jade. I've now go my stylish new haircut, a new wardrobe and lots more. i hope i've got what it takes to impress Jade if i dont then i don't know what ill do. Hide in a closet and pretend I don't exist any longer, ha no I wouldn't go that far. I've got a whole new wardrobe, more shoes than my sister and my put together and they have a lot. So many different tops and pairs of trousers it's amazing.

Jade

I keep hearing rumours around the school that there is some geeky looking weirdo that likes me. Ewh! I don't want him near me, but who won't fancy me I'm irresistible now. Everyone I know wants me or wants to be me. The thing is if I have to like this boy then my reputation that I've built up will be gone and I just can't be doing with that at school or anywhere else for that matter.

I can't wait to go to prom in my dress its amazing. I'm going to have my hair up after its been curled and pinned back with grips my make up will be blue eye shadow to go with the dress and the rest I don't know I'll let the make up artists decide that.

Skylar

I've had one of the girls from my group try to find out what colour Jades dress is so I could have a matching tie or waist coat or both. So I finally found out after a week and its purple she wanted to make sure no one had the same colour as her I can understand that to be honest. With being so popular she wants to be different to all the girls in the school.

Well prom is tomorrow night so I need to ask Jade to prom today or its just not going to happen. I really worried that she will say no or just laugh at me.

Lunch break at school

Can I have everyone's attention please?

All heads turned towards me I started to get butterflies in my stomach again, this had to go right or it would just be an embarrassment for me. I heard murmurs around the hall and even got a wolf whistle from someone. Obviously people like my new look or that was just a joke. I tried to spot her in the hall and of course the only girl not looking this way.

Jade,please could you stand up?

Slowly she turned and looked at me this was it my time to ask her.

Jade Robertson... Will you go to prom with me?

Hahahahahah, me go to prom with you as if your pathetic and a geek, she yelled.

All the girls round her table started laughing I was gutted.

Boooooooooooooooo, I got a huge surprise as all the heads in the hall turned towards Jade and was booing at her. I can't believe this I was liked at school just nobody ever showed it.

I heard my name getting called,

Jade Robertson... Will you go to prom with me?

Hahahahahah, me go to prom with you as if your pathetic and a geek, I yelled.

All the girls round my table started laughing at him.

Prom night

Well prom night is here and I have no date, I'm going stag, not as good see I would miss it but I don't cause we'll then people will think I'm really embarrassed from yesterday at lunch which I'm not by the way. So what I'll still have fun one of my friends says she's wearing an aqua blue dress so I don't go the same as her and people think we are going out that would just be weird because I like Jade.

Once the limo pulled up outside my house all of my chess team friends were in it but I noticed Chelsea wasn't in, I asked if she was still going everyone just looked at each other and ignored me.

I was going to get a dance with Jade before tonight finished no matter what. I had to.

Chelsea

I couldn't be in the limo with Skylar that would mean he would see my dress before he seen Jade and my plan as to pan out perfectly. Once Skylar sees Jade isn't for him I'll finally confess my feeling to him.

Skylar

As we pulled up to the hotel I could see everyone from my year going in so many people looked amazing, then I seen it the purple dress Chelsea described walk into the hotels ball room. It was amazing.

I reached Jade(Chelsea) and turned her round, as I looked at the girl I realised it was Chelsea. "Surprise" she said with a I'm sorry I lied to you look. I said its fine just tell me where jade is? Chelsea said she wasn't coming due to her spraining her ankle during training last night. I was gutted.

"Skylar... Please listen to me... I-I love you-u". Looking at her with surprise I leaned in and kissed her I didn't realise she had the same feelings I had for her so many years ago. I love this.

And the prom king and queen is .... Skylar and Chelsea!

A big up roar if clapping and screaming started at we made our way to the stage I couldn't believe i didn't even know I had been nominated. I love my life now, I really do.
