JOHN POV
After I defeated arlo i laid my foot on his head as he lie there unconcious.
I did it I thought.
I beat the royals, and now, no royals, no hierarchy as my victory set in, I noticed a face, a very familiar face. It was seraphina, and the look she had would haunt me for the rest of my life.
SERAPHINA POV
Why I thought in disbelief.
Why would he lie to me? What else has he lied about? Was it all a lie from the beginning?
I thought as my despair set in. Hower and eevie started to comfort me. I don't know what came over me, but I made my way downstairs to the courtyard. The moment joker saw me, he froze on the spot.
"J-John?" I said out loud.
Still, he stood frozen. I reached for his mask and as it slowly started to reveal my Frien- no, my worst enemy. Even when the mask came off, he still stood there.
"So that's it?!" I said
"you lie to me for almost a year and you dont even have the nerve to F@#KING SPEAK?!" I screamed. "Liar" I said as I started to walk away.
JOHN POV
"I knew this would happen, but it still hurts"
was what I thought.
I was searching for a way to repair this, to start all over. Then I had an idea, it was pretty risky since i already had 4 high tier abilities. I notice her aura still has a small trace of power.
"I can start anew" I thought out loud.
I activated it but the pain was unbearable. For the first time in my life, my skin started... disintegrating??!!
"AAUUUUUGGHHH" I screamed out
My ears were ringing and my head was pounding as my flesh and bones slowly started disappearing into ash. I saw sera say something while she was running to me but I couldnt hear. Right before she got to me, i froze time all around the world. I look up and see everyone's horrified faces, seraphina's worried face, and arlo, remi, Blyke, and isen's unconcious bodies.
"This is best for everyone" I thought.
"Rewind" I whispered.
After I said that, i rewound time, my life for the past year started playing in reverse. It was so fast it was incomprehensible. Eventually I was on the day me and seraphina met and then...
