PART 5: ULTIMATE

JOHN POV

When we got to the yellow one, I was nervous and i had no idea why.

I put my arm in the yellow one, it took the sample

ERROR

Vaughn seemed to be vastly impressed as he smiled again

"Your talent never ceases to surprise me John, on to code red" he said eagerly

I put my arm in, took the sample

ERROR

Vaughn and Darren seemed to be at a loss for words.

"Try it one more time, just to be safe" Vaughn said

ERROR

"I can't belive it, he's a CODE BLACK." Darren said to Vaughn.

"Part of me CAN belive it, did you feel the massive energy he gave off" Vaughn said
"Yeah, I guess you're right. But still, there's only one other code black that's been to wellsto and he's a 32.2." It got done taking its sample, and to my surprise. The gauge actually showed up!

It said.....

"No way" i whispered in disbelief.

"Yes way, you scored a 50.0, the maximum level for code black. Congratulations!" Darren said cheering up some

"Now, were going to do some tests to check your powers" said Vaughn.

He pointed to a very large, thick Ibeam

"Try and bend it"

I activated my ability and to everyone's surprise, I SNAPPED IT??!! AND SO EASILY TOO??!!

He took me to the track that was in the room, he seemed pleased with my performance so far,

"Get to the finish line as fast as you can" he ordered

It was about a quarter mile away and I was there in almost an instant

"My God" Vaughn and Darren whispered in disbelief

"Now, onto your defense, I'm gonna do something a little bit different"

He pulled out a high powered gun that shot rubber band rounds and I flinched back

"Don't worry john it doesnt fire real bullets...I wouldnt be here if it did" he laughed "just activate your defensive ability and you should be fine...probably"

My skin turned black and energy radiated from me

When it hit me, Vaughn keeled over in pain

When he stood back up he seemed fine

"So it looks like a mix of arlo's barrier and Zeke's defense form" he gasped for air

"Alright, now let's try your recovery, heal us." He said breathlessly still

I let out a large field of healing, that's as well as I could describe what it was, anyways. Vaughn's wound from the defense form was healed instantly, and when they were healed, I could feel their aura strengthening. And I ended up doing the same to myself.

"Amazing" Vaughn said.
As we finished, he came up to me.

"Well John, now that all the formalities are out of the way, welcome to wellston, when the others ask about your level, you can tell then the truth, or say 10.0, it makes no difference" he said kindly

"Thank you sir"
