I was a happy and cheerful child
With happy and cheerful parents
And happy cheerful friends
Playing games of all sorts
Singing to songs of all rhythms
In a house of grand laughter
Few years go and I was gone
Moved to a far away state
But I was a joyful and loving girl
With joyful and loving parents
And joyful and loving friends
Learning everything
Studying anything
In a room all of my own
A few years pass and I was gone
Moved to a far off town
But I was a lonely and lively girl
With caring and lively parents
And no friends to chat
Tearful some days
Gleeful others
All in my little room of my own
A few years go on and I was here
Still in my town
I was a lonely and depressed girl
With a unknowing parent
And bullies to hide from
Wishing to run
Planning to die
In my dark room of my own
A night went by and I was gone
Sleeping forever in my room of my own.
