Dahyun POV

The car had come to a halt; the driver turned the engine off. Instantaneously the car lights turned on.

I could feel a slight tap on my shoulder. I rubbed my eyes slowly opening them. Wondering what was going on. I looked around trying to get a hold on the situation. I looked down and noticed I was holding Sana's hand. I smiled a little but quickly let go of her hand. Sana turned toward me pouting her face. I clicked my tongue and shoved her playfully.

I unbuckled my seatbelt before grabbing my duffle bag and drink. I stood up ready to jump into my bed for some much-needed sleep. I hauled my bag up the stairs and through the door. I removed my shoes placing them on the shoe rack; I put on some fluffy light blue slippers with white polka dots before entering the living room. I made my way to my room dropping my bag in-front of my bed. I changed into my pajamas before climbing into bed.

Tzuyu was already out cold in her bed. Chaeyoung had climbed up the ladder of our bunk bed to go sleep. We turned off the lights and said goodnight to one another. I tossed and turned in my bed trying to get into a comfortable position. I stared aimlessly at bottom of the top bunk waiting desperately for sleep. I tried to calm my thoughts, but they only became louder by the second. I had enough and got out of bed; I went to the living room to sit on the couch to clear my mind.

I walked into the dark living room looking for the light switch. I switched on the lights only to be terrified by a sudden scream. I jumped up startled before falling to the ground crawling on the floor to hide behind a wall. I grabbed one of my slippers before peaking my head around the corner.

" Aghh Dahyun what are you doing?," Sana yelled angrily

" What do you mean? Why are you sitting on the couch in the dark?," I exclaimed being harmfully accused

"I was just trying to eat a midnight snack," She replied, showing me a bag of chips

"Next time turn on the lights you gave me a heart attack my heart is pounding so loudly," I said trying to catch my breath

"What are you doing up, anyway?" She asked while munching on a chip

"Oh, I was just having a hard time sleeping, so I wanted to walk around," I replied

"I can sleep with you," She said with a smirk

I hesitated for a minute "No, it's okay you don't have to" I looked at the ground fiddling with my thumbs

She stood up and grabbed my arm "C'mon let's go"

She dragged me in my room and onto my bed. She climbed into the bed and cuddled me wrapping her arms around me tightly. She would hum softly to ease my mind; petting my head. As I yawned my eyes became heavy, my heart thumped slowly, taking shallow breaths. At piece my consciousness fell into the arms of deep sleep, oblivious to the world around me.
