ellie's pov
10:15pm

as soon as i left ethan in the bathroom i took a breath and walked towards the kitchen where noora was.

"can i talk to you?" i approached her.

"yeah, of course" she gave me a gentle smile. noora put down the dishes that she was currently washing and we both stood against the counter for support. by doing that, i knew i had her entire attention, however, i don't know if it was a good thing. it just made me feel more nervous.

"im sorry, i cant do this.. i can't be 'friends' with ethan, i cannot stand the guy." i took a quick pause to breathe, and continued, "i know it's not something you want to hear, but i don't want you to get hurt-"

"listen ellie. if you're going to bash about my boyfriend, i dont want to hear it. i guess it really is just, 'too difficult' for you to handle one another .." she cut me off and quickly walked away towards our front porch outside.

i tilted my head down in disappointment, i just ruined it. i
rubbed my eyes allowing them to close for a second.

noora's pov

i sat down onto a lounge chair, which honestly never had been used until now, and took in the fresh air.

i can't handle them not liking each other, it's driving me insane. i need to learn to accept it, but it's annoying.

maybe if they knew more about each other, they'd probably like each other more...

i stood up, and went inside looking for them, "ellie, ethan..?" i called out.

they were both sitting on each end of the couch and both turned their heads sighing.

"let's play truth or dare," i suggested. i wasn't going to accept no as an answer.
they both looked at each other, ellie quickly shook her head while ethan smirked.

"wow, that's my girl." ethan said and i giggled, heading over to sit on his lap.

"come on ellie! it'll be fun!"

"mhmm.. okay, sure." she shrugged sighing.

"oh my god yES! i wanna start!" i exclaimed, clapping my hands together, "how about, i start with you..." i pointed out to ellie.

"truth," she said without me asking. i could hear ethan's eye roll from behind, he wanted her to pick dare.

"mmh... if you could change one thing in this world what would it be?"

before ellie could answer, ethan took the lead, "one thing i'd change are the game rules. let's make this game fun," he smirked, then continued, "i'm adding in a rule; if you refuse to answer the truth or refuse to do the dare, you must take off a piece of clothing."

ellie gulped, chugging down the last sip of her drink, "fine. i'm in."

i didn't want to do this, but i had nothing better to do. i wanna make it up to noora, and honestly, if i dont take it too seriously, it could be fun.
