Darryl's POV
This kitchen is never going to be clean again. So much for making pizza. Whatever. That was worth it.
We decided to go out to eat, and also decided to never try to cook together again. We drove to a McDonalds.
Once we were done ordering our food we sat down and waited for our number to be called.
"DARRYL!" Zak basically screamed. A few people looked in our direction.
"Zak, shh. There are other people here." I whispered, extremely embarrassed.
"But babe, look at our number." I blushed a deep red. He's never called me that before...it's so cute. I looked at the number and immediately stopped smiling and grumbled.
"Can I never get a break?" I ranted. "You paid someone for that number. There's NO way that was a coincidence."
"I didn't!" He giggled. I couldn't help but smile. Why does he have to be so cute? It ruins my bad mood every time.
"Uhuh, sure," I replied sarcastically.
"I promise I didn't! Believe meeeee!" He whined.
Before I could tell him that I believed him, a girl came up to us.
"Hey, my friend thinks you're cute. Could she get your number?" She pointed at a brunette sitting a ways away. She was talking to Zak. MY Zak. HECK NO, YOU B-
Before I could scream my lungs out at this annoying girl who was trying to steal my man, Zak replied.
"Uh, no, sorry. I'm with somebody right now."
"...Oh. You have a girlfriend already?" She said, grumbling to herself.
"No, I have him. My boyfriend." He snapped back.
She scoffed and walked away. I'm pretty sure I heard her say something along the lines of "ew", and I almost got up and punched her, but Zak started giggling.
"Why are you laughing?" I scowled.
"I'm so glad you got mad because one: you're so cute when you're angry, and two: it's adorable that you want to be protective." He confessed.
I blushed deeply, and I realized that he was too.
"I'm glad I have you. I love you so much." I expressed.
"Me too. I love you so much." He smiled and I smiled back. I love him so much and I know he loves me too. I feel complete.
