When I woke up in the morning I was super excited because it was finally my 17th birthday and well this meant that only one more year and I could live by myself and not have to depend on my parents. I just couldn't wait to finish the 2 years I had left of high school being and 11 grader sucked!
"Dylan you are going to miss the bus if you don't hurry down here" my mom said I checked my phone and it was barely 7:30 am and my bus usually comes at 7:45 am but I had to listen to my mom so I rushed down the stairs. "Mom I'm already 17 why can't you stop treating me like a child? "Your dad and I got a present for you" my mom said. I opened the present and when I opened it there was a rainbow flag with a note that said "have something to tell us?" I was worried and I looked up to my mom when I saw her face full of blood. Then I woke up from this awful nightmare. I looked at the clock and it read 2:37 am I guess I was just anxious of the fact that I had turned 17 two hours ago and that this year I was finally going to tell my parents that deep secret I've been hiding, because they have to love me how I am or even forget the fact that I am their son.
I woke up got ready and left to school the same boring stuff all day, as usual my math class was boring as heck and I had failed with an F, how worst can my day get now? Once school was over I hurried to get home to see what my parents had gotten me as a birthday present. Once I got home I went inside and I was waiting to see some sort of present somewhere but there was nothing.
I went upstairs to my room and since there was nothing else to do I started cleaning when put of nowhere I see that same boy that had captured my attention, Sebastian was his name and then I saw him go inside his house that was on the same neighborhood where I lived. I saw my da pull up on the front porch and around five minutes later he said to get ready because we are going out but I had no idea where we could possibly be going to. We stop at a cars dealership and my dad said "happy birthday I think it's time for you to have your own car so you can stop asking your mother to lend you hers" I cannot believe my dad got me a car like how awesome is this I am freaking happy right now, like wow my OWN car!!! as I'm going inside I'm thinking of what car to get and then I see the perfect car ever! A red BMW as soon as my dad did the paper work and they gave us the car I asked my dad if I could drive it home and he said of course I could because it's my car.
As soon as we got home we had birthday dinner and in our family having birthday dinner was almost a tradition and it consisted on the whole family (that in my case was a small family of four) eats the favorite dish of the birthday person. When we were having dinner my little sister Sam was annoying me because she kept on singing the birthday song to me, although a nice treat it got annoying after the 3rd time she sang it. My father said for me to take my car to school tomorrow so I could get the student parking permit and I could already start driving to school. Next day I woke up and got ready to go to school got my car keys and headed off to school, as soon as I get the car out of the garage I noticed that it was raining and that there was one person at the bus stop. Then it happened he turned my way and I saw it was him, it was Sebastian. I drove pass the bus stop and said "hey hop in I don't want you to get sick"....
