Later that night, Blaire heard a gentle knock on the front door. She slipped her hand around the handle and was greeted with two warm hugs. "Ry, Shar! Come in!"

Ryan and Sharpay squeezed through the door at the same time, following Blaire into her room. "I said we'll settle this. So let's settle this-" Ryan said dramatically.

"Like good girls?" Added in Blaire.

"I'm not a girl."

"You might as well be." Sharpay told him, dropping her bags onto a chair.

Blaire looked at the two, her heart pounding as she let a song slip from her mouth.

I don't sing on centre stage, no
And I don't play this stupid game, woah
I'm not in it for money or fame.
So let's just drop the act
And be good girls

Blaire took a breath and pulled Ryan's hat off his head and onto her own, leaving his tangled blonde hair sticking up.

Yes, I could knock you down
But I don't watch friends hit the ground
No, we got off to a rough start
I mean—
The soup thing?

Ryan laughed a little, Sharpay pulling a face. Neither knew Blaire could actually.. sing?

I'm on offer
And the world made a price
99 dollars
1 more for a 'loser' sign.

Let's be good girls
And settle this like it's our world
Drop all them other people
Because it's just you and me
In this eternity.

Singing just ain't my thing.
So if you want to, then go ahead and be mean.
Because this life just ain't for me..
And if you want to take it
Then make it your own.
Please.....

Sharpay raised an eyebrow and clapped, her dog on her lap. Ryan seemed shock. "You never told us.. you could sing?" Ryan said before joining into the song.

Let's settle this
Like good girls,
Even though I'm a boy
Let's make this our world
Hand in hand
There's so many things we could enjoy- come on Shar-

Sharpay stood up, before making a dramatic entrance.

You're a bit of a liar
But that's what good girls do
They pretend their good on the outside
But they're under-layer is scraped through
Mm.. never told a lie
Except when necessary
I'm Sharpay Evans.
What is the word caring?

All three laid down on the bed, smiling at each other. Ryan looked at Blaire. "So, are you going to sing?"

Blaire gaped. "No. But I might consider coming to the show when you two get a part."

Ryan attacked her with tickles, Sharpay strutting around the room. "You. Must. Join." Ryan said. "Even if you're just a supporting role-"

Sharpay nodded. "There's plenty of supporting roles."

Blaire sighed. "I'll do it if you stop-" she laughed at Ryan as he tickled her neck. "Tickling me."

Ryan stopped. "Thank you. Now, what's for dinner?" He asked jokingly.

"Pizza and Chocolate Brownies."
