hi there! i'm evy, ev, evelyne, whatever you want to call me! i'm seventeen years old making me the oldest member of the mainland. i am also proud to say i am one of the original five of the group chat (with ayla). i've been a part of the stranger things fandom since the very beginning! july 2016!!!
i was actively a part of the fandom for a long while, you may remember my old wattpad/ instagram handle e.ggos4eleven, which changed multiple times and is now peggy-oh (r.i.p.). as much as i love stranger things, i've sort of grown out of my fanpage and fangirl habits :( but i still love the mainland so i love to keep up with everything!
i'm a very low-key fan of all the shows i watch, but that's compared to how crazy i used to be so i definitely am still considered to be a fangirl! along with stranger things, i also watch pretty little liars, sailor moon, miraculous ladybug (yea i'm a child i get it ok), and my all-time favorite, what would you do with john quiñones :D
a lot like the rest of the mainland, it was my childhood dream to become an actress, after all i've been doing it for almost my whole life. but that became a dream deferred when i discovered my passion for teaching, and i'm very excited to be applying to colleges this year so i can become a teacher one day! i also work with children during the summer and during the school year.
i like history, psychology, fashion, music, reading, writing and art! i love to express myself with the clothing i wear, and it's taught me to be more confident in myself and not care what other people think about me. i don't read as much as i'd like to because i'm so busy, but my favorite book is The Solitude of Prime Numbers and i strongly recommend you read it if you like a good tragic love story.
as for music, i absolutely adore music of all kinds! i used to be obsessed with eighties music but that quickly evolved into a mix of all different kinds of music! some of my favorites are alvvays, gus dapperton, tame impala, chloe moriondo, cavetown, the grateful dead, clairo, conan gray, summer salt, rex orange county, and plenty of others! if you wanna check out my spotify i'll link my playlist at the bottom :))

that's about all there is to say about me! i'm kind of the known mom of the group chat but simultaneously baby hehe. i have three dogs and i'm an only child so i'm really really close with my family. i love all my mainlanders (did i mention that ayla flew three thousand miles to come meet me last summer? we stan) and i would do literally anything for them. i'm kind of super sensitive about everything so naturally that makes me really emotional and clingy (but it's ok bc all the mainlanders are clingy uwu). i really like to eat ice cream and mac n' cheese but i'm also wildly lactose intolerant so we stan lactaid. so yea all you need to know about me is i'm super emotional and have the moral duty to help literally everyone and if i don't my world implodes so if you ever need any advice, a shoulder to lean on, or just someone to talk to don't even hesitate to pm me and we can chat :D that being said! i'm really excited for this account and yea! here's my spotify link :D
